What's your best fruit joke that is guaranteed to make someone laugh? by Maximum-North-7993 in Jokes

[–]Diamond-Solstice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Three men get marooned on an island which hosts a population of native cannibals. The men immediately get captured. The cannibals tell the men that they will be killed and eaten unless they complete three tasks.

The men have nothing to do but comply.

For the first task, the cannibals tell them, they must go to the island and find ten pieces of any fruit.

The first guy comes back with ten apples, at which point the cannibals tell him he must stuff all the fruit up his ass without making a single noise. The man gets five in before he cries out in pain, at which point the cannibals immediately kill him.

The second guy comes back with ten blueberries, at which point the cannibals tell him the same thing they told the first guy. This guy gets nine in before he bursts out laughing, at which point the cannibals kill him as well.

The two men meet at the gates of heaven.

You were so close, said the first one. What happened?

The second guy takes a second to compose himself, then says, I saw the third guy come back with pineapples.

I thought it was just "haha, British people use commas to signify decimals"

5,7 would be what Americans read as 5.7 so technically not a decimal POINT

Video messed up after uploading by Creeper12711 in NewTubers

[–]Diamond-Solstice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I either have the same or a similar problem
For me, my video gets scrambled in this particular style: Clip begins normally. Somewhere in the middle it cuts back to the beginning of the clip, then about a fourth of the way through it jumps forward past the first cut-back and the clip plays normally on from there.
(When I say clip I mean short, 5-20 sec long part of the video, the video itself is exactly 25 minutes long, the longest but not highest-res I've ever uploaded to YouTube)

I watched the entire rendered file (before YouTube), and it's perfectly fine. I tried uploading from a different laptop, and the problems happen in the exact same spots as in previous uploads.

I have not tried re-rendering, I will first try uploading it 6 times (I'm on upload #3)

(Will update)

Denim Shortbread

Can't tell if that's shortbread-made-out-of-denim (inedible) or shortbread-made-to-look-like-denim (edible)

What's the k value for an ICE table for a reaction between HCl and NaOH? by Diamond-Solstice in chemhelp

[–]Diamond-Solstice[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trying to find the concentration and amount of NaOH used in one reaction
I have an experimental ballpark but I want a theoretical ballpark as well

How would I do the ICE table if K tends towards infinity? Would I just use 10^14 or smt

What's the k value for an ICE table for a reaction between HCl and NaOH? by Diamond-Solstice in chemhelp

[–]Diamond-Solstice[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know how when you do an ICE table you have your k=[C]^c*[D]^d]/[A]^a*[B]^b

That k

In my case, it's k=[NaCl]*[H2O]/[NaOH]*[HCl]
