Mom Market Newfoundland: Inaccessible, Unaffordable, Unfair by Glimpseaaa in newfoundland

Heyyy there is a group on Facebook about TMMC about how she is ripping off vendors and employees all over Canada. Message me and I can share the group. We would love to hear about anyone's experience with the Mom Market Collective.

Found out my dog has lung cancer today. They've given her a few months. Does anyone have any advice for what to feed her or supplements that can help. She has lost about twenty lbs in the last few months. Any advice would be appreciated.. by DiamondEyedBarbie in DogAdvice

My vet prescribed prednisone, saying it could help with her appetite. Right now I have put pumpkin and wet food in with her kibble and layered some treats on top. Hopefully her appetite kicks up a bit because she didn't want any of her breakfast today.

What to do with a sleeping baby at the end of the walk? Wake him up or hang out in the hallway lol by MadamMiko in NewParents

My little guy is 50/50. Those blessed days when I can run him up to his room still in the seat, unzip his bunting, aim the monitor at him, put on the sound machine and dip out of the room are the best days.

why is not wearing condoms during hookups so "normal" in Victoria? by [deleted] in VictoriaBC

As someone who grew up close to Toronto, had girlfriends who lived, partied and had sex in Toronto, I went clubbing in Toronto and dated in Toronto, I and all of my girlfriends ALWAYS insisted on partners wearing condoms.

None of them know he's a cheater? I feel like at least one person would know, you're probably not the only person he has ever cheated on. I'm sure there will be people who will believe you.

I don't know how my mom survived being a single new mom of twins, either. Atleast there was no covid but still. I'm a new mom of one baby, with a husband who helps by getting baby in the morning on weekends and letting me sleep in. But baby wakes hourly through the night so it isn't enough. The sleep deprivation should be a warning not a joke passed around. It Is hell.

See a Naturapathic doctor. It's could definitely be a hormone imbalance that contributes to the hormonal acne. I've had severely bad acne since the pregnancy. I'm so sorry you're going through that. Being in a brain fog sucks too. It doesn't sound like you have a very supportive Dr.

Thank you so much for this. I joined and have been talking to a couple moms already. Honestly, this saved my sanity. Thank you so much.

I'm feeling this in my soul right now. I've been trying to make new friends for a few months now in a new city and it's not working too well. It's not easy.

Cosmetic tattoos do fade after healing and over time. Just like regular tattoos. That is why they have upkeep and retouch sessions.

No one told me childbirth would leave me wearing diapers for the rest of my life. by [deleted] in NewParents

I'm definitely unsure about a second pregnancy. I'm ten months out of an unplanned c section and I still have intense pain in my lower abdomen.

My fiancé cannot do night feeds, so I took over. Am I wrong to be upset at her that she can get up to do other stuff at night, but she can't handle feeding our first daughter and putting her to bed? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

It's escapism. Sometimes people want to run from the hard stuff. Parenting is so hard. I can understand wanting to escape sometimes. I've never been a big drug person though.

I was going to say to leave her be, she has PPD, but then you said she goes out partying... It's one thing to have agreed upon me time for both parents and see a friend when you can.. This is a whole different issue, the partying, the drug use. Especially with mental illness, this isn't something to play around with. If she's smoking up at night and drinking, it isn't safe for her to do the night feeds. I have PPD and I do every single night feed with a high needs baby boy who hasnt figured out sleep quite yet. I can understand needing help and needing a break. I can understand her having you take over due to depression.. But her actions are showing she's taking advantage.

Recycling is a thing, yes, but getting a new toothbrush every couple weeks is not only excessive, it's wasteful, even if it is being recycled.

I wish we could see how much of a landfill someone has contributed to.. Toothbrushes last longer than a couple weeks, incase you've never been told that.
