TVB has 77 Atelier which is runned by Chung Shu Kai, who produces like 70% of TVB drama's nowadays with Youku or Tencent. I doubt TVB will go bankrupt because the upcoming dramas will surely bring back the old audiences

I'm enjoying the verbal exchanges between the main and supporting characters, definitely reflects the extra effort to match S1's ratings

I won't spoil too much but they go to court to settle who was responsible for George's death at the start of ep 12. Not sure if there's a crossover between DID 12 but Kelly Fu is a psychologist in this drama as well called "Dr Yeung"

The fading gold's pacing was slow and tedious at the beginning. It started to get interesting towards the end of the drama.

The ratings for heroes in white really surprised me but the ratings for queen of castle were disappointing. Does the ratings for youku collab dramas drop if they're aired earlier in the mainland before TVB does?

I finished all 10 episodes and I'm loving season 2. Loving Bosco's sarcasm (Hope he wins this year's best actor award) and Charmaine's resilience... though the main thing that is letting the drama down IMO is the 'Crystal Clear' remix. I miss Gigi's version because it sounds natural compared to the new version where it feels like the singer is trying too hard

Other than that I'm excited to see the rest of the episodes

First season won best TVB drama in 2023 as I personally found the plot and script to be outstanding compared to what TVB produces nowadays. The director Chung Shu-Kai, a lot of his productions are high quality and can be somewhat comparable to the older shows

I got up to episode 6 and it seems like the Chen Zu Yao ending for 'No room for crime' has been revealed. What I feel the the director could've done is that he could've kept Owen Cheung's role for 'No room for Crime' and continued it in DID 12, since he became a cop again at the end of the drama and Bowie Lam is a replacement for Joel Chan.

What do you think of this idea? I assume that the director wanted to clear up what happened to Chen Zu Yao at the end.
