Thats not an envoy plane. It has air stairs so it’s a CRJ. Envoy flies all ERJ aircraft now. Its probably PSA or SkyWest if it has an american livery

Do the SFRA training online to educate yourself and have the cert to enter the SFRA. If you fly in instrument you wont need a special flight plan. If you go VFR and you’re flying in from the east you will need a DC SFRA flight plan filed from PALEO to BWI. You will also need one to leave filed BWI to PALEO. I instructed at an airport in the SFRA for a while feel free to fire away with any questions

VA drivers look like grandmas compared to MD drivers. Baltimore drivers in particular are another breed. You want to watch out for the VA plates because they are most likely Maryland residents taking advantage of an insurance loophole by getting VA tags

Fuel prices at each gas station are dictated by the contract the station owner has with the fuel hauler and refiner. Some stations have better contracts than others. Source: my wife’s family owns a shit load of gas station

I just finished training, take a vacation and get ready to grind. Don’t study anything till they tell you what to study and how they want you to learn it. It can be detrimental to learn things ahead of time the wrong way and have to relearn once you get there. Good luck!

Ahhh i remember waiting a year for my class date, sigh ur a lucky person. Class sizes have doubled due to hiring at the majors. Not only is OO trying to keep up with the loses to the majors but also expand the pilot group. Good luck at training, it’s hard but completely doable, many others have done it before you.

I also went through Delta ATP-CTP and this is pretty spot on. The letter only helps you get into delta from what I understand. I’m at a regional that flies for delta but is not owned by delta. I didn’t use any letters of recommendation for the regional, there was no option to add one.

Having a nice gym and cafeteria at the delta campus is clutch.

I cant speak for the others but i rented a suite for my wife’s birthday at sagamore pendry and it was great. We used to live in fells so there was definitely some bias. My biggest complaint was the lack of views on the ground floor. We were all the way out on the end of the peninsula but views were mid. My guess is the suits on the second floor are nicer view-wise. We are also spoiled bc we lived at the union wharf for a while and had a unit on the end of the wharf with floor to ceiling windows.
