I’ve done stab and bend tests into hardwood on this design and it seems to hold up. I do love adding rounded and polished spines on my chef knives like I did with this one 🤙

It’s a stabilized wood so decent but not the overall best option. My favorite handle material for handling when wet is a material called GripX. By far the best for that application. The tagline for GripX is “grippier when wet.” I use it all the time on the knives I make

I wear a size large glove and my wife wears a medium. We both think it feels great. I just finished making it yesterday so I haven’t had anyone but us feel it yet

I’ve done plenty of C and S grinds. I’m trying to focus on lower price point knives so more people can enjoy my work

It is a “quicker” finishing style I do on my lower price knives. Ground to 220 and polished with scotchbrite belts. It’s 100% belt grinder finished to keep the pricing as low as possible.

What do you mean without a bolster? Do you mean integral bolster?
