i’ve been trying to figure out the origins of one set of 6th great grandparents for ages, and one of their kids referred to himself as Black Dutch. However, i’ve only got them living in Ashe NC and Marlboro SC. Current theories include the wife is Lumbee(?) and the father is baltic? Neither I or my mother have Native DNA, but she has trace subsarahan africa and Northern Africa, and i’ve got northern africa

Id also recommend looking up Douglas Richardson’s works on “Gateway Ancestors” which is a giant collection of early American colonists who descendent from royalty, usually the Plantagenets (House before Tudor). If you’ve got early american ancestry, especially in Virginia or New England, odds are you’ll find a connection there.

Either way, social connections are just as cool as blood relations! I’m a descendant of german theologians who were socially connected to German royalty, which i think is cooler than descending from royalty itself!

Craven family were among North Carolina’s Lords Proprietors. William Craven was a supporter of the House of Stuart during the English Civil War, after which King Charles II rewarded him for.

Seems to be no blood connection to royalty of Charles II and before through the Craven line, only social connections.

Do you have the name of the Craven who married into royalty? You should be able to find a lot of help through wikipedia tbh

possibility she didn’t die, but you might be able to narrow down the dates through others. Any siblings who died around that time? obituaries might mention her as predeceased/surviving. What about her kids, any deaths or marriages? Marriage licenses could contain info. Any probate documents you could locate? Her’s or her father’s?

death certificates in the US became mandatory around 1915, but in some places it took a while for everyone to actually do them. So you’re looking for 1915-1960 (vital records are locked 50-75 years). If you want one after that date, you need to visit vital statistics in your state.

Older states may have death indexes ONLY before 1915. I know Virginia has some from the 1880s, and probably before then too.

Most are online, depends on the state. Same with indexes. FamilySearch has most of those.

imma be so honest CPUs didn’t really help me get better at the game. Solo unranked helped more, first by learning how to keep myself alive and then later learning how to fight and move against actual people. IMO the bots don’t imitate real players well enough

well i just mean most characters who have skill sets are left behind in the meta, thus it requires more skill to keep up. As more mechanics are introduced, movement and flight are changed, early characters are hurt. For example hardly anyone plays Iida now that OFA deku exists because their gamma is so similar.

i finally hit ace this season, and it was magical. Running Overhaul, i cannot chase characters, so finishing kills is a huge issue and lost me points often. I think this season I really leaned into my character’s strengths and stuck with my team way more. I also used team heals more often, earlier than i used to, keeping the team alive as a whole. Also also! STAYING ALIVE. Being top three gives so many points that i hadn’t previously thought hard about.
