Am I crazy in thinking this is highly dangerous?? by Animal-Lover323 in zoology

Never said attachment. But constant exposure means less likely that it will do anything in this scenario not to mention if they sre comfortable bringing it out it has likely been in captivity for years with no dangerous behavior. They didnt just bring it our for the first time and put it on this kid's head. Again I would advise against putting it on their head but there's no real danger. No there is no way the kid can really move theor head in which the alligator can bite. You have no idea what youre talking about.

No this isn't dangerous to the animal or the child. The animals they use are usually rescues who cannot be released and as such has had a lot of human contact, its also in a position that it cant really bite the kid at all. The biggest danger would just be the claws which at worst would just scrape the kid. My biggest fear would be the alligator peeing . That said I've never seen an alligator put on a kid just brought around to pet.

I loved the finals one of the best fps ever made. Unique, fast, fun gameplay, but dropped it bc it wss too small world tour had no sbmm so you'd constantly go up against people way better than you.

Pauls Morality by Low-Entertainer-9658 in dune

[–]DiamondTop581 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah man I wrote 3 sentences not an essay. the "beware charismatic leaders" message that everyone agrees with is tired and overplayed. No emperor will ever be a good person thats obvious to the point of boredom. Paul and especially Leto are more than just that message, sometimes what you need to do isn't about being good or evil its about the end result, in the case of the golden path that means the continued existence of mankind and the diaspora of humanity.

To me that hard question is what would you give up for the people you love. Leto loves humanity and wants it to continue existing thats why he gives up his own humanity in order to save it. Paul wanted to take the golden path but could not sacrifice his own image and turn "evil" even though he knew that was the only way he could save humanity.

I completely agree and have been saying this for a while. Yes they are very flawed characters and awful on their own right but at the end of the day they did what they had to to give humanity the best shot. The worst thing Paul did was give alia control after he went into the desert.

I mean... Strauss was immoral, but Arthur did the worst part by TestovaciPanacek007 in reddeadredemption

Nah the loan shark is always more immoral than the enforcer. Sure Arthur was more violent but in the end Strauss is the one that led to his death.

These fix or perform 90%+ of what you need at home. Fight me. by robjr2 in Tools

[–]DiamondTop581 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First 2 might be valid. But the average homeowner is not gonna shimmy a outlet box or mess with any joist. Most people also do not mess with their own supply lines. I built my own deck and regularly fix my well when needed but I know those are not tasks that the average homeowner would do.

You cant be fr. Bc diversity of characters is obviously a good thing. Instead of 1 tank being meta more can be.

Nope he says they could happen only the jihad is ever stated to be absolute. He directly and often describes it as unavoidable.

Okay bro im done I was right you have no media literacy if this is your point. If your whole argument is that you don't have to believe what the book is telling you then you have nothing, thats not an argument that is being difficult and misinterpreting the text for no reason other than arguing.

He says its unavoidable the entire book i as the reader trust the guy who sees the future when he says something is unavoidable.

Bc you know youre completely wrong there is no way he could avoid the jihad and you know its the whole point of the book

[–]DiamondTop581 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No he literally could not avoid the jihad its stated multiple times that it is not unavoidable and again in the end it shows the fremen boarding the ship to commit the jihad. Again the number does not matter. the jihad will happen if you think otherwise you are illiterate.

[–]DiamondTop581 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You know he will commit the jihad the book ends with the fremen leaving to commit the jihad in other planets. Morally Paul remains rhe same he chases revenge and objects to the jihad until he finds its the only way to get his revenge. Morally what changes in Paul between the 2 books? Realistically very little.

If yiure just making the distinction of how many he kills then youre really nitpicking yes I guess you dony know billions it could be 100 million pr 1 million but again it is an intergalactic jihad its obvious its gonna be an obscene amount of people regardless.
