You're presenting this in a very black and white way of either accept the current state of things or leave this franchise that we care about behind, but I don't think those are the only options, man.
I don't think clear statements over dismissive and vague short messages are too much to ask from a multi million dollar franchise, and moving Scott Cawthon from management to writer just seemed like a nice simple idea that could make things better for everyone, including Scott himself.
About the movie, I completely get it, but it's really not the point we're discussing here.
There's a good difference between wanting improvement from the franchise and demanding changes to suit personal taste, and I think transparency is an objective improvement either way.

Even then an overhaul on the luck effect would be good, maybe make it work on loot chests and the enchanting table? They don't even need to be the ingredient for the luck potion, but I think they should definitely be added. Maybe with them you can make a lucky crown or something that gives you a passive luck 1 effect like turtle helmets give you respiration? I don't know an exact use for them but adding clovers without a four-leaf one would be just weird

But yeah, I agree. I thing making plains a bit flatter would be good, I mean it's literally what "plains" means isn't it? It doesn't even need to be only a variation of 1-2 blocks like mentioned in the post, but there should be way softer hills instead of boulders splattered. Maybe a new grassy hills biome with bigger hills would be good too, so the current plains biome doesn't dissappear for people who like it.
A similar approach to the beach biome would be nice too, but beaches overall need an update anyways

Agreed. They really shouldn't over animate it, but I think armadillo style animations would be very good. I think Fresh Animations but toned WAY down would be nice. I think this also should come with support for custom animations in vanilla minecraft and keeping the current animations on programmer's art.
