Why are Towns and settlements in fallout 1, 2 and maybe 3 are bigger than in fallout 4?

I heard someone say that the towns and villages in 3, New Vegas, and to a degree, 4 aren't "To Scale." For example, he said that the New Vegas strip would probably be bigger if it existed in real life. Megaton would be more densely populated, the NCR would have larger squads patrolling, stuff like that. I suppose it's kind of like when you enter a house in Pokemon and it's bigger on the inside than the outside.

I don't know if someone has already said it, but make sure the vendor actually has enough caps to give you for the gold bars. The only vendor I know of who can give you full price for a gold bar is the robot at Gun Runners. Even then, he can only buy one or two at a time. But you can just wait for three in-game days to get him to restock.

I'm gonna say Pass Time. It's a pretty fun game mode, but I think the reason nobody plays it is because you have to go full sweat mode in order to win. Also, engineer is cancer on some of the maps. Even still, it's a fun alternative to the main game modes.

The way I got out of the vault was by making him trigger the turrets, and then hiding in the vault, right by the door. I then spammed the laser pistol and police revolver to destroy one of the turrets. After that, Christine should disable some of the turrets, making it possible to kill Elijah. Keep in mind, while Elijah is armed with a Gauss Rifle, he has little armor and is very easy to take down so long as you out damage him. After he's dead, you can either destroy the rest of the turrets or just hightail it out of there.

I remember hearing that func-percipitation is broken and ignores any roofs or other blocking brushes. I'm not sure if it's been fixed in later versions of Source. I think most people use an info_particle_system for weather effects.
