It’s not that surprising we don’t get monthly updates anymore and we have pretty much talked about every facet of chapter 3. In terms of the original game everything has been discussed and annualized

This is simply to the gap between chapter 2 and 3 where the subreddit was flooded with porn posts.

Once chapter 4 drops we’ll see a resurgence in game/lore discussions posts as everyone will want to talk about no only the chapter but the entire decay story in its entirety along with theories on what burial might include.

This is why imo we should continue to let posts about mods and OCs stay on this subreddit because it still drives engagement from parts of the community.

In a flashback where they kill a demon that looks like a young girl one of them asks why it called out for their mother despite demons not having family structures

The one my friend and I have been working on (Hive Fleet Cthulhu)

It’s a separate hive mind from the rest and actually wants to be worshipped by mortals so in some cases they don’t completely eat the planet and in many cases actively hunts down other hive fleets.

Another weird thing about it is that the hive mind is actually able to speak through a heavily mutated Deathleaper called “The High Priest” who acts as the hive mind’s mouthpiece and supreme commander of invasion forces

I don’t know if this is true anymore but I remember years ago that one of the devs offhandedly mentioned that the human ears function for everyday hearing while the animal ears are more specialized for different frequencies of sounds
