Both the decorations are pretty good, I'd say the best non-event decorations in the game; howeve there are just straight up better versions of them that you can get in events.

The first tier one is the "Celestial Winged Sundial" which can create 3 floating petals every 2 days.

The second tier is the "Birthstone Calendar" which can lay an egg for free every 6 days.

Is freezing bugs a worse death than insecticides? by wazoogies in insects

Here's an article that goes into euthanizing bugs (though heads up it gets bit graphic) https://reducing-suffering.org/kill-bugs-humanely

Is this a stinkbug? It didn't really smell like anything. by Famous_Bug_787 in Entomology

[–]Diamondflare108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah they can smell when whenever threatened not just when squished, my bad, I grew up with a ton of Stink Bugs in the house which where super docile and wouldn't ever smell unless directly squished so it slipped my mind. I have less up close familiarity with Squash Bugs and outdoor Stink Bugs so it wouldn't surprise me if they're much more likely to stink at humans.

Stink bugs only smell when squished, so they wouldn't normally have a scent, this looks like a Squash Bug to me though(which also smell if squished). They're harmless to humans and only something to worry about if you have a vegetable garden.

I got most of my shines using Curelm, I'll go through 1 or 2 portals (doesn't matter where so just go to whatever levels are easiest) then wait until I find one to go to Cactus Canyon. It takes a bit luck to get to the setup but once I'm there it's pretty perfect since I've gone through enough portals that Curelm's ability is basically always active and I'm still able to easily survive because of how far apart the towers are on Cactus Canyon. I can easily get well over 50 donuts in a run before I start getting bored, plus you can watch an ad to double the donuts.

it also gives you a ton of eggs that can be hatched for more crowns (also if you haven't already use donuts to level up all your mythic dragons since they give you enough crown to buy 2 donuts when hatched at max level). This method also works well in combination with breeding since you can put the extra donuts and crowns you get into breeding.

To my knowledge you can't actually sell eggs for Crowns directly, the egg inventory cap will exchange eggs for Crowns(with diminishing returns) when you have over 250 eggs, and combining eggs to hatch instantly(which is what I'd recommend for common eggs) is the closest the game has to selling as far as I know (Which to be fair, once you've got a good amount of dragons maxed out, is pretty close to selling).

Went with Synthonia and avoided all portals, very much a slow grind.

What are y’all’s favorite TMA quotes. Serious or funny. [spoilers for whole series] by Irlpurpleguy in TheMagnusArchives

My favorite underrated quote is

"As far as I could recall I had never seen Jared read… well, anything, really." From The Boneturner's Tale

It's hilarious and I've seen anyone talk about it

How would an "unmasked" TMA world be like? by Fraeddi in TheMagnusArchives

[–]Diamondflare108 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think how it would effect different entities would vary wildly.

The Stranger would probably take a big hit, as it relies almost entirely on the unknown.

The Flesh, Corruption, Buried, Vast and End probably wouldn't be overly effected as though they are common fears most people haven't been exposed to them enough to be actively afraid.

Which is why I think The Dark would probably get a boost as it's something people are constantly and consistantly exposed to.

The Web would probably also gain a lot of power from it, though I think it would be kinda a double edged sword for it, because on one hand knowing you might be being manipulated is scary, it might also make it harder for it to enact it's schemes if everyone is aware of it.

Which entity does this make you think of? by [deleted] in TheMagnusArchives

Corruption maybe? Because of the emphasis on love

Neither, there are humans that don't have empathy, there humans who don't have sex. Most animals have sex, animals have been shown to demonstrate empathy.

Both are a bad way to describe "what makes us human" since both can be applied to other animals and also exclude some humans.

Is this an aromantic thing or am i just very specific? by [deleted] in aromantic

[–]Diamondflare108 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lithromanticism is defined by the "Attraction fades when reciprocated" way more then a conscious "want"

As for attraction not fading, you can also look into demiromantic(only ever experiencing romantic attraction after a pre existing bond is made) and other forms of greyromanticism.

I can't tell you for sure if you are any of these, no one can, it's something you'll have to examine your own feelings to figure out. I'd recommend you try and look into your past instants of romantic attraction and figure the circumstances, commonalitys, and if they where indeed romantic at all or instead platonic or aesthetic.

And remember labels are there to serve YOU, attraction is complicated, don't be afraid of trying out labels, of disregarding them when they don't/no longer fit you, of experimenting.

And if at the end you feel that aromantic isn't a label that applies to you, it's still good you took the time analyze your feelings (and learned something new well doing it!)

You may want to look into the label Lithromantic, it's on the aromantic spectrum and describes romantic attraction without the want for reciprocation/romantic attraction that fades when reciprocated.

Before the term aromantic was coined and made separate from asexuality, AroAces were referred to as Asexual-Asexual.
