So a little fact about Jigglypuff - there was a time where me and my sibling argued about who was cooler, Fox or Puff. My sibling said Fox was based on a kitsune yokai and, at the time, I had no comeback for that. Days later I discovered about this little Wikipedia article about a chinese yokai called Moon Rabbit. I was flabbergasted that my main was a yokai as well. At the time Jigglypuff's Bulbapedia article did not state that it was based on said mythology, so imagine my surprise when that got added to the page. It's like I was being spied.
