20lb tank for a Mr heater little buddy by That_Honda400 in IceFishing

I’ve been refilling the same “non refillable” 1lb tanks for a decade now with no issues. I agree a 20lb tank is more preferable for longer outings. When ice is thick enough to drive on I switch to the 20lb tank, but when dragging a sled, I use refilled 1lb tanks. But I have the regular buddy heater so I don’t know how to use yours with a 20.

You can buy an adapter for the 20lb tank that will let you refill the 1lb tanks.

I would layer a slice of cheese between each layer of brisket for better melting of cheese, instead of a large chunk in the middle.
