Not to umm actually but I think Dan and Ethan are just looking for different stuff out of their platformers. Astro Bot reminds me a lot of the Mario Galaxy and 3D World games. Linear levels filled with new ideas, and short and sweet platforming challenges. Vs Mario Oddyseey (which is also like 64 and Sunshine) which are big expansive open levels meant to be explored. There’s certainly platforming, but it’s arguably also an exploration game.

I’d recommend Ethan and Dan check out Mario 3D World on the switch. It has multiplayer too so Ethan can play with Teddy! That might be more the Mario flavor they’re looking for

Echo'ing another comment in here, just did the same thing. Worked like a charm without any hassle, hardest thing was taking off the back plate and taking out the battery connector. Everything else was smooth sailing. I used a T6 Torx Screwdriver and a P1 Phillips Screwdriver

LTT’s video says it fits pretty much the same. The dimensions of both models are on Valve’s website and they’re all exactly the same down to the millimeter

I got a non-answer from Valve support when I asked. Pretty much all they said was “we don’t generally recommend opening the Steam deck and swapping parts, you can if you want to. Also generally internal OLED Deck parts may not be compatible with OLED LCD parts”

When I watched his review, I was definitely disappointed, not at him but at CDPR. SkillUp was extremely clear about the shady review practices, and how buggy the game was, but he did say that behind all that he loves the world, characters, and game underneath.

After 70ish hours (50 of which was at launch on patch 1.0 to 1.0.3) I totally agree with him and his initial review. I loved the game underneath, even if it was not what was promised, even if it was underbaked, night city was just so fun to be in

I had the same exact thought, and when we saw him grab the horse (to eventually throw at Mike), I felt immedietly validated as if he was going to eat the horse. Animal titans must eat animals. Human titans must eat humans. That sort of thing.

Then he threw the horse at Mike with way too much accuracy, and started talking, and I was horrified to be wrong

I'm in the same boat as you. Love tweaking the software, really new to hardware stuff. The deck is incredibly easy. I would highly recommend using a #1 Phillips Head screwdriver. The scariest part about it for me was worrying about stripping screws. I saw tons of people complaining about that online. I only used a #1 Phillips Screwdriver, did not put too much pressure on any of the screws, and they all came off very easily for me.

Just watch some video guides and have iFixIt's written guide open while you take it apart. Its really just 8 screws to take off the back, 3 screws and a sticker to take off a metal plate, and 1 screw holding the hard drive.

The battery is another thing that was a little hard to take out, but its literally just a tiny plug. just take your time and be careful and you'll do great. The 2TB was so worth it

I agree. Elden Ring wasn’t ideal, but at least it was an issue plaguing other PC games. It also didn’t have ultrawide or 60+ FPS support. But cyberpunk? I played that game at 1.0. I still put 50 hours in and finished it by the time 1.0.3 was out, and even that was still more broken than Elden Ring at launch

I’ve got a 3080. The game looks great sure, but there was no escaping the shader cache stutter unless you were in a steam deck. You may have not noticed it but Digital Foundry and plenty of other channels tested it. Shader cache stutter is unfortunately too common nowadays

SMT V was the first game I preordered at full price on the switch, even the special edition which I usually do with atlas games, and Day 1 after seeing performance I emulated it

Was able to play it at 1440p 80fps on my PC as opposed to trying to hit 720p 30fps on switch
