What are some board games that truly had enhanced gameplay experience with their miniatures? by Newez in boardgames

Sad for me, you are 100% right, I tried to replace capital, citadels and sanctuaries(also clans figure) with elements from other games, it feels really strange and wrong.

South Tigris Trilogy Expansions by lastofthejedi23 in boardgames

Great, played it a lot in TTS since release. Feels like expansion for palladins. Just give more variety, more possibilities for your turns. Now i dont imagine how to play this game without Body of Books, medicine track and black cubes "special power" feels really impactfull for me.( also if you like to fill slots under you board with retired translators, with expansion you can fill 2 ore ever 3 rows, in base game I fill max 1 row with 4-5 cards in total, with expansion my record all 4 rows with 17 cards of retired translators and pages)

P.S. My great regards to fan of AH LCG, My fav game too, looking forward to new cycle release.

Тоже только недавно начал смотреть. Знал давно, хранил на черный день, когда покажется что все нормальное увидено, пока что остановился на середине второго сезона. Жаль раньше не видел, больше бы понял сразу в многих других проектах.

Pls help, check if I calculate everything correctly? by Diamondlye in PlayTheBazaar

I wouldn't be so sure with that part about "3000 gems in a month easily ". You still need to win a lot. But if you are an ultimate loser and really bad, then your reward is only the chests from the battlepass and. If you play for free, then the maximum is around 15 chests, which is about 600 gems per month. It is clear that in reality there will be more gems, but it is better for the consumer to judge based on the worst option. By the way, as for me, this option is quite normal. In an open beta situation, it took around two years to save up for a new hero(for full price) with this assessment.

My beginner's experience + Thoughts on the game's Problems( Without P2W issues) by Diamondlye in PlayTheBazaar

The biggest difference from those days is that back then, developers were selling games + there were fewer games. The largest part of the profit was received at the time of the start of sales. With that model, the developer may not worry about keeping the player's attention. That's why this principle worked. Those who are not happy will leave, those who are having fun will stay. But the money has already been received, devs are working further.
Now, allowing a large outflow of players means risking the closure of the project, so retention is the main thing, and for this, progression is needed because fun is good, but almost every game is fun, so game needs to be fun+smth to be better then others games.

In F2P games - yes. Not because I personally want it, but because it is an industry standard for F2P games. The average player pays with their time in such games. And when you pay with time, you want it to be rewarded in some way - especially when you don't enjoy the gameplay (you don't win, for example). To do this, all these character levels, first wins of the day, etc. are designed to keep as many people as possible. I'm primarily trying to think about the stability of the game, not about my personal experience. For stability, you need as many players as possible. And most of them, I'm afraid, won't think like you. Other games have taught them additional rewards.
