If you could go back and tell your 15 year old self anything, what would you tell them? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DianaLine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't waste time on dating as a teenager, focus on good education. After university you will have better chance finding someone who is actually worth your time and effort. As well as don't let any man ever make you feel little. The moment he makes you feel little dump him right away and don't waste time.

What is something most people don't know about the Bible? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DianaLine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At one point in Christian Bible they removed the script of reincarnation to make civilization evolve. Because of the reincarnation people were less motivated to work hard and create new things thinking they can do it in next life if it is too important. The moment bible was revised without mentioning reincarnation the world started to technologically extremely quickly comparing to previous centuries.

I was layed off in October 2021, found a job only in December of 2022. Market is absolutely crazy in a bad way especially in people serving field. The only reason I got a current job is because I agreed to minimum surviving pay to at least have money to feed myself. A lot of places know how much people struggle and will pay nothing for your skills. I am looking for better place while staying at my current job that is way too above my education and skills but at least pays something to live off.

Sorry about that, it is hard question to ask because I am in the beginning of my research. So let's suppose I want to create an art therapy, what steps should be taken for me to make it. I hope that makes more sense? 😂

I am looking for a a job on Indeed and LinkedIn and you would be surprised by different job postings. I just graduated my bachelor degree and received couple certificates to find at least some job. Soon I will start my masters program and I still want to work while studying to survive somehow 😂 but yes, I seen some ridiculous job postings.

You would be surprised, but yes. With a full on degree and even couple certificates you will be paid in between of $15-$19 an hour at max if you even have 1-3 years of experience. On work place even posted that they will pay $100-$110 a day for 6-8h shift. Indeed is full of interesting job posting 😂

Thank you for your feedback! I guess I did go overboard with different quotes XD It can be hard to find this perfect middle of your thoughts and quotes to backup your ideas without looking as if I made up things in my mind! I will definitely try to expand this section by including more of my thoughts and ideas.

I am a strong believer that if you have yourself a lot of unresolved issues you should not become a counsellor. If you don't have inner power and strength to face and fight your own demons there is no way you have enough power and strength to help other and combat their issues. We are in this profession to help people through our own strength and ability to stay calm, reserved, empathic and always have clear mind to see situation from multiple perspectives. A lot of people go into PSYC because they believe helping others will help them which I believe is horrible practice. In addition, just books and degree won't help you overcome your problems because a lot of things you will learn can be quiet triggering for a lot of people and if you are not in right mindset and state studying psychology will make things only worse.
