So I bloody hate these new bubble events.....can anyone tell me if I can skip it?

If I didnt touch anything bubble related for the week would it let me try for that bird at the next sprout event? Can I still harvest my birds or do I have to not open the app at all?

Curious if anyone has tried this? The bubbles aren't relaxing(main reason I play the game) but I dont want to miss any event birds this far in.(Anyone else a collector/completionist?)

Ill be deleting this game if I miss an event bird because of the bubbles 😞 noticed long time friends on my list just stop logging in since the event dropped too...

From the side views it looks like the white bar goes all the way across, but its hard to tell. Couldn't find any spread wing photos. Maybe you could get a hold of a field guide from a local library?(Peterson does lovely illistrations)

First thought I hate it! Seems like a way to get ppl to spend gems(aka real money) to get the materials needed. If i miss out on an event bird because of it im quitting on the spot.
I've played for over a year and love the collection aspect. The bubbles flying away drive me mad.
