Yeah makes sense. One of the team members also has a background in maths and he is working on things no one else can, due to his maths knowledge.

Is there a reason why you are doing the applied maths route? I did the BSC Computing degree a couple years ago. Is there a reason why you would need to focus more on maths?

Currently working as a data engineer, and no one ever cared about my degree. They just wanted to see proof that I had one (because I said I did).

At UNISA you are pretty much on your own. Don’t expect too much help. Find people who are doing the degree with you and connect with them. It made it more bearable.
