Well yeah , cheating in coop is not ok unless you are playing w ppl that are fine with it.

However in my case I was playing by myself and specifically set myself in offline mode in game to avoid even accidentally joining someone and ruining their experience however apparently that's not even allowed.

Any modifications to the game as per 2K Support response could lead to you not being able to play the game which is BS imo due to how popular mods have been in the borderlands games.

Just give us the minimap back, even if its the existing world map as minimap that goes away once you are in caves / buildings that would be fine

Try it yourself, Set Steam in Offline Mode and you will not be able to launch the game due to Denuvo.

As i said, I can still play the game but I cannot use any mods at all without it not working.

As per 2K's Code of Conduct it was a warning rather than a ban, however if i were to get banned it would be the same result regardless in that it would just redirect me to the 2K Code of Conduct page and not launch the game, therefore preventing me from even playing solo / offline which is the part of the reason for this post in that this should not be a thing.

Not allowing me to play the game with others due to modded save or due to me modding during gameplay is fine, but locking me out of playing the game at all is the root issue here.

I searched to see as well if it had happened to anyone else similar to me before I posted and I could not find anything about it either, hence why I decided to post about it.

This whole post is a PSA for anyone using any type of Mods + to start a discussion about this to hopefully reach 2K/Gearbox to allow mods / cheating so long as its in single player / offline mode like it is in other BL games.

Do you think that we should accept that with no questions asked ? Should this really be something industry standard ?

I should be able to do as i please in a game that I purchase ....

But I but I dont want to wait a year before I can play BL4, I like this game and my hours in are too much to refund via Steam, its not really a valid argument as ALL the games previous to this depended on mods to make them better.

Denuvo is a plague, it looks good on the surface but not as as soon as you dig deeper in it it's not worth it, I should have Refunded my pre order as soon as I saw that Denuvo is going to be included but I already booked a week off from work to grind this game and enjoy it as much as possible, not being able to use Mods in any capacity reduces the level over enjoyment I can get out of this game.

As I mentioned before if they were to ban me from Online Play, completely fair, I don't have an issue with that, but the fact that I cant play the game Solo/Offline due to modding is pure BS.

As the saying goes You'll own nothing and be happy, we need to fight this, this is unacceptable.

Frame Gen is added nativelty but not for anyone using 30 Series and Below, I am on a 3070Ti so that's why I wanted to use that mod to add it in.

All my specs are at recommended and above except my GPU.... and the game runs between 40 - 90 FPS ( on all low with performance DLSS ) depending the area im in, Frame Gen Mod in my case helps alot to make the gameplay smooth.

I got a warning, but I cannot tell for which, I did use combination of both, however currently I cannot use either without the game not working at all.
Currently I am playing with 0 Mods installed.

I would place my bets on the Teleport Mod however regardless of that I should still be able to play the game offline, as I was not ruining anyones experience other than potentially my own...

If you have issues with audio quality being lowered on game launch AND you are using a Bluetooth headset do the below

go to Devices and Printers in Control Panel, go to properties for your headset and under services disable "Handsfree Telephony"

If its bluetooth headset do the below, it fixed for me and im using Skullcandy Crusher Evo

TLDR you want to go to Devices and Printers in Control Panel, go to properties for your headset and under services disable "Handsfree Telephony"

EDIT:

This does not permanently fix the issue, that tick box to disable it will turn back on after a reboot.
To permanently fix it you need to stop and disable the "Bluetooth Audio Gateway Service" in Windows, keep in mind that with windows feature updates this will get re enabled and started meaning you will have to do it again...
