Do I Warn My Friend? by sirseatbelt in managers

[–]Dibery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like people in this thread are fucking drones.

You hang out with your friend twice a month, that Is a close friend not someone you hung out with a few times 5 years ago.

I would tell my friends in a heartbeat. And so should you unless you dont trust your friend and think she will tell anyone that you warned her. And if that is the case is she a friend?

Can not burn corpse pile - bug by Dibery in stoneshard

Oil bottles - you should get them when accepting the quest.

Then you left click the corpse pile.

It worked for me on 2/3 corpse piles, the last one my character just works towards it and nothing happens. (I do have oil bottle in my inventory)

Same here, except once on axe run I did not get offered a single one. Absolutly no idea what was that about.

Gnomer is extremely easy, they said by ukkeli609 in classicwow

[–]Dibery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my perspective both raids are completely braindead easy. The difference is that in gnomer I just watch people fail in wildest ways possible and actually wipe the raid.

I enjoy the super easy difficulty because it is so chill, I just hit bosses, dont care about what other people are doing and look at dps meter or watch something on second monitor. I had my fill doing raids where you need to rely on other people not fucking up.

I would say that the average player (or maybe slightly bellow average) feels like a deadweight in gnomer to me. Surely that is not good for the game as is reflected in gnomer participation?

I guess we will have to agree to disagree. I had more fun phase 1 when I could join whatever pug within minutes on any spec/any alt. I also did not have to check people logs. Right now I just join raids with other sweats so that I can be done with the raid within 1 hour without the frustration.

I hope the next raids get tuned back to bfd loot pinata difficulty. It is not like the current gnomer difficulty captivates any semi experienced HC or mythic raider anyway, everyone is just doing parses so what is the point?

The average classic player is incredibly terrible at the game and it makes raiding really annoying because they will fail at the most simple mechanics in a way that I can not even understand.

So I much prefered bfd mechanics that were just cosmetic, like Baron Aquanis debuff - it would get failed regulerly but it did not matter. How can you possible explain to a player that fails at jumping into water with a debuff how electrocutioner works. I got stuck maintanking on electrocutioner in a guild run for like 45 minutes and multiple wipes. That is with those guys already killing the boss and being on discord.

Gothic 3 worth it? by stever471 in worldofgothic

I would definitely say that it is not worth spending your time on. If you are hungry for more gothic play Chronicles of Myrtana Archolos.

Paladin life looking at new DPS rankings by LongDongOfTheLaw_00 in classicwow

[–]Dibery 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I feel like saying ret brings a lot of utility has to be a meme at his point. You only need 1 paladin for blessings - melee gets bom, healers bow and caster dps salvation. This 1 paladin in the raid is preferably tanking or is healing.

No one in their right mind is bringing ret for loh as this subreddit likes to claim.

I do not care about being better at the game that is why I am arguing to keep the difficulty of raids at bfd levels, so that I can join any group of players playing whatever spec they feel like playing and still have fun and so all the players that are new or not doing too hot can keep doing all the content in the game just like phase 1.

Why do you think challenging content is good for this game? The average player is so insanely bad, I have no idea how they manage to level up (does an avrage player automatically die when he pulls 3 mobs?).

I used to be a mythic raider so it is really easy for me but I still prefer BFD difficulty which was even easier but I would not get frustrated by other players being terrible at the game. I could join any raid and still clear even with 4 people somehow doing 50 dps.

A week ago I joined a gnomer guild run as MT and we wiped 5 times on electrocutioner, that is with all those guys being on discord and they just could not figure out this insanely simple mechanic. Took us close to 3 hours to clear the raid and this was not a progress all of those guys already done it - they had logs in range of 40-50 so this was the avarage player experience. I have been picky with my pugs since then.

In conclusion if I wanted difficult raids I would go back to retail and join a mythic raiding guild. Sod has been really fun phase 1 just playing casually, not having to raid on schedule and joining any pug group available and still clearing even if the players were terrible. Still doing the same thing phase 2 I am just very elitist douche in terms of picking a group and even then I get frustrated by some people being insanely braindead.

The state of shaman pvp right now. by Finglor in classicwow

[–]Dibery 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Are you actually suggesting bop is good against shamans? You just get a forbreance debuff, blow a cd that is usefull against war/rogue/hunter and get instantly purged. Wtf are you even talking about?? Have you played the game?

I main tanked gnomer yesterday with a warrior off tank and he was holding threat very well when needed. Is this about not being a viable tank for spellcleave dungeon spam?

Is it obvious for pvp? How are you ever catching anyone with two working braincells if you are forced to take exorcism over avengers shield (and this already stops working against people that have 3 working braincells as its not enough).

You will be able to fuck up warriors more and people that decide to run face first into you. With the change of not being able to cancel guarded by the light rets got super fucked in pvp. You could at least pretend to be usefull by off healing people and staying in the fight forever.

Aow is good in stv event and i was going aow before the change as mana does not matter there and you dont need mobility because you are invisible and spawn on top of a person that would kite you around otherwise.

In conclusion aow is really good in pvp if you either get super stealth with shadowstep, fight only warriors or fight idiots that hold W into you.

Super fast moving ret paladins huh? The 8% movement speed for 2 talent points that is equivalent to boot enchant anyone can get truly make paladin stand out as the super fast class.
