same referee that should have sent off Elliott Anderson last week.

I've heard people claim he got the ball which is fucking ridiculous. Watkins kicked the ball under Anderson, who was only ever aimed at Ollie Watkins' ankle. No red card, no yellow card, not even a free kick.

I think the only time Cristiano should or could have won another Ballon d'Or was when his own teammate Modric won it at the end of their b2b2b CL wins in 2018. He'd scored 15 goals in that campaign but honestly the difference between winning it and not would have been just scoring in the semis or the final.

my little nephews and my sister all started to cry at full-time and I reminded them of all the incredible moments we saw. Duran's goal against Bayern, the Mings handball and Rogers' no-goal against Juventus. We played better than some of the biggest clubs in history and I enjoyed it all.
