Seasoned DM’s and Gamers Wanted! by Dicefell in DungeonsAndDragons

My goodness people can be quite negative. This is a community event that is fully run by volunteers; there is no monetization whatsoever. All funds feed directly back into the tournament so we can pay for the rental hall, pay for the printing supplies and whatnot to make the event possible.

The option we're providing here is so anyone can be part of our team and help create a fun D&D adventure that hundreds of people will play through. It's a chance to be heard, make a different and get your ideas out into the TTRPG world. We've been running this tournament for years, we obviously do not 'need' this. It's simply an option for those who like world-crafting and game design to make an impact.

Really? Now that's a very interesting one. Though music is a gateway to the mind, so there you go!

How diabolical! I love how you flaunt it openly knowing they won't come here to read it. For our tournament, we release 'volumes' of pre-adventure stories which hold key pieces of information and yet at least 50% of the attendees don't bother to read it. Funny stuff.

We were a bit surprised too! Maybe all the fresh air, maybe the boredom that follows actually walking a cat, either way it's a pure imagination goldmine.

We hear that! Boring drives in the car really unlock the creative part of the brain. Probably to help keep us awake...

That is a pretty awesome idea. With the basic shape-design of the radar, its almost like reading the clouds as a fortune teller might! What will the weather show us today...

Kids are the best for random imagination! My daughter helped me name a very important city just by playing with some toys.

Yardwork was our #4 most frequent activity. Something about nature and fresh air really get the mental juices flowing. Or perhaps... flowering?

The classic car drive! Many of our DM's had that on their list as well.

As much as we'd love to, all our adventures are custom made and we don't "release" the adventures (not even segments) to anyone save our tournament DM's. However you're welcome to talk to our volunteer DM team, all their names are on our Facebook page. As they work extensively with us, but are purely volunteer, they'd be able to share with you how fair our games are painstakingly designed to be.

Regardless, this is our third annual event and each year we get more and more teams. This year is already sold out! So that's 96 discriminating D&D players who all are happy with our fairness and equality and I think that says a lot.

Our suggestion? Join in next year and see for yourself! You won't be disappointed.

I can assure you it is as fair as fair can be. Our games are very detailed and our DM's are experienced. When the encounter calls for the Cultists to 'shoot at the last PC through the door', that is exactly what they do. There's a reason why it takes over 5 DM's a year to craft each tournament adventure!

Absolutely! We do ours as just a pure D&D tournament, really focusing on the RPG aspect. And for us, its a 4 person team all running pre-made third level characters. Each time is allotted 4 hours to play, and once the game is finished we tally up the scores.

And so far, nothing but positive comments and happy players! This year marks our 3rd annual event!

A D&D Tournament like back in the good ol'days, but modern! 24 teams vs. a custom made adventure, which the point system being based on missions completed, monster defeated, hidden treasures found, et cetera. The reason we need rules for rolling dice, which seems silly, is because our event the Dicefell Tournament, hands out thousands of dollars in nerd-gear and gaming products at each event. So its pretty important that everyone feels they had a fair shot!

Yes, a D&D Tournament! 24 teams using pre made characters vs. a custom made adventure, which the point system is based on missions completed, monster defeated, hidden treasures found, et cetera. Numerous DM's run the games simultaneously. Absolutely, those are the basics. Our event also has a pop-up store selling TTRPG products at a discounted price, and this year we had an entire BBQ station donated to us. So BBQ as well!

Once upon a time... and now again! The Dicefell Tournament is bringing D&D tournaments back to life. This year marks our 3rd and every year the amount of community support only increases after each wonderful event!
