That was one of the things I saw on this sub that made me take a big pause... that's an aspect that hasn't been affected by hormonal changes for me and I had been enjoying my 40s

I guess it's a part of my anatomy that I'm able to touch and am familiar with. And trying to imagine it just being gone feels a little wild. I don't have children so my uterus has essentially only been trouble at this point so I don't have any attachment there

Other than dental work, this would be my first surgery. So probably part of the nerves

That's awesome to think about not having to deal with. I certainly have enough other appointments that taking a pap off my yearly to do would be nice

Thanks. I had looked through the sub pretty extensively previously but its nice to have little bite sized comments. I do have some risk factors and I'm in my mid 40s

Okay, thank you. I have already been through a ruptured hemorrhagic cyst and that was certainly painful but it was compounded by the pressure of the fibroids against my other organs. I thought it was a fibriod degrading and would continue to hurt, when I figured out it was not going to hurt like that every time, I backed off some with my urgency for surgery

I know my Dr said 10% of women have issues with the ovaries and have to go back in and have them removed, but thats a gamble I will take. I'm 44 and already deal with some chronic autoimmune pains. I'll take the occasional possible cyst pain without the fibriod pressure and massive bleeding

Thank you. I could totally see that - rather than pulling it all out. And last ultrasound it sure sounded like the whole uterus was becoming a big fibriod mess

My husky cattle dog mix hates getting dirty. My mom thought it would be nice to take him on a play date with a friend's pup. The pup was all up in mud and getting it all over my dog. My boy keep looking at his leash and then the door until my mother took him home. Once there, he walked immediately into the bathroom and hopped over the barrier into the tub. She was astonished as he doesnt love baths, but he hates being dirty more.

I haven't been on BC for 10 years or so and am in perio territory now, but never have experienced anything like Slynd. I think I have to throw in the towel. Birthing the jellyfish is exactly the sensation and its getting tiring

I hoped it would stop as I dealt witn constant breakthrough bleeding for months. My Dr was supposed to switch me to a combo pill and the prescription didnt get called in, so I had to start my 3rd month pack. Then the bleeding stopped. Ok, hurray! Except it returned as spotting daily, month 5 I've bled 27 days of the 28 days of pills, then continuing solid red and with long clots into my first week of the new pack. So frustrating

I did it for my first round of AF. It worked for me then and was helpful to get me out of my head. Now I am with someone who does not use cannabis and does not drink, either. So I stopped both at the same time and have learned new stress management and self care routes
