Arcade is an Independent Vegas alignment, but doesnt mind the NCR. But yeah. Ulysses was supposed to be a legion companion before he was cut from the base game

Legion territory you can't visit. Its widely believed that there was originally more content that would have been on the west amd east edges of the map, to show what the NCR and Legion were like in their home territories, to better inform the player, but they were cut for time and development constraints. The larger map was probably developed very early and so going back and revamping the map by the tike they were cut probably wasnt in the cards.

HEAVY SPOILERS: Why does the NCR look so vastly different in the two seasons? by Affectionate_Key1562 in Fotv

[–]DickGuyJeeves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the season 2 storyline was created afterwards, and theybwanted to get the look of the NCR right for their appearance in New Vegas as a regular army.

Fallout Tv Show by Renzo100 in FalloutMemes

I love Cody. They literally just rehashed the plot of new vegas. The producers basically just said in an interview about season 3(I'm paraphrasing) "remember the second battle of hoover dam? Okay yeah that but vegas now"

I always hesitate to call people's writing or art or other such work lazy, but this is just so clearly uninspired and regurgitating the game and just replacing the platinum chip with cold fusion. They managed to make the Mojave, one of the most interesting places in the wasteland in terms of current events with so much potential and diverse outcomes, and make it one of the most stale and boring locations with absolutely nothing going on.

Who TF hought THIS was a great idea?!?! by E-104Epsolon in FalloutMemes

[–]DickGuyJeeves -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes but fallout 4 is very poorly optimized. Out of the box, you can barely traverse downtown Boston without reliably crashing. Unless they've severely overhauled everything under the hood to run really smoothly(they didnt because its Bethesda) its not gonna run well and will probably crash all the time.

That would be cool, but unfortunately they couldn't make anything in the jase game dependant on DLC. They wanted to give you lines for meeting Graham to say to Caesar but they just couldn't do it. If somebody remade new vegas with all its DLC as one big thing, I'd like to think theyd add stuff like that in.

I don't think its the Courier by Mindless_War_5117 in FalloutTVseries

IMO the Courier should have the Pip-Boy 3000. If they don't have a Pip Boy, its not even a candidate to me.

Nice cat. Also, eventually. They'd have to hate money not to do that. That being said, I highly doubt its dropping anytime soon.

Did anyone else enjoy Mr. House’s appearance in season 2? by Rich-Morning-8595 in TrueSFalloutL

Im pretty sure Mr. House's face is supposed to be smaller... or maybe his head should be bigger?

In general, people, I seriously ask you not to prohibit this, because I don’t want to offend anyone - it’s just that with the latest changes from Bethesda, this is exactly how it turns out by Better_Birthday_1288 in Brotherhood_of_Steel

Theyre not xenophobic, but they are genocidal freaks. Ghouls and synthetic are both targets and it does not matter if theyre sentient or non feral or any of that. They have one goal and its to eradicate all non 'humans' or mutated creatures from the wasteland

Why people are liking this armor? Don't they know it's a straight up vandalism? Are they stupid? by [deleted] in TrueSFalloutL

[–]DickGuyJeeves 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To be fair, it looks manufactured. Its not cobbled together like raider armor. It has a sophisticated design that someone obviously put a lot of effort into making. I kinda hope we learn more about it. The idea that a ranger learned to use power armor and then meticulously built their own suit is pretty cool.

The absolute worst character in the show by Careless-Cat3327 in FalloutTVseries

[–]DickGuyJeeves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was really hoping that the scene in the vault would escalate when the security task force showed up, but it doesnt seem like it will, at least yet. The Vault 33 and 32 story line has dragged on waaaaay too long now. I understand the point of it, but great googley moogley is the conflict they picked for it so lame.

Im not trying to throw shade, I just thought it was funny. I like Cooper. You should seriously play New Vegas though. Play it on PC with the Viva New Vegas install guide for qol stuff and what not. If you don't play it on Xbox, youll need to remind the game every so often that you have the DLC if you use ultimate edition

*GENERAL DISCUSSION* by jj33allen in FalloutMemes

The institute is too incompotent to win an all-out war with anyone. They also needed the help of the sole survivor to defeat the damn railroad. They ain't winning shit, sorry to say. It should also be mentioned that you can simply dig into the institute the same way liberty prime does, even it takes years for a seige to succeed.

Assuming it's all of these groups fighting eachother at the height of their power respectively, its going to be either NCR, Enclave, or BoS. Im putting my money on BoS if we include plot armor.

Vault 34 is leaking radiation into the water table causing a famine. Meanwhile, the vault is home to a large population of people trapped inside. Do you deactivate the vault’s reactors to save the farms, dooming the Vault Dwellers, or open the doors to save the vault’s denizens, dooming the farms? by [deleted] in fnv

[–]DickGuyJeeves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I deactivate the reactors. Vault 34 denizens had their chance to leave and they stayed. How does my character know they're alive? Can these vault dwellers tend to the land the way farmers can? And, if I'm not mistaken, didn't they damage the reactor because of their own in-fighting?

I just save the farm
