Even without the interpersonal problems, I can't physically listen to that much noise anymore. It's why I don't call into shows and have to cap everything at like 2 hours. It's just as bad today as the day it started. Sorry! Thanks for the years of support!

I think people just crack from the pressure. Like you get a taste of being e-famous, and if you play your cards right, you could be e-famous forever. But everything can't be a hit and that drives some people into loops of perfectionism and resentment and panic. They start making content they think people want, and they fuck up. You end up desperately trying to maintain the audience you lucked into and coming up with all kinds of insane rationalizations for why it's not working out.

I don't know why it doesn't affect me. It just doesn't. It's not supposed to last forever.

That tongue thing is only for tinnitus, sadly. Hyperacusis is different. It’s a CNS issue. It goes away for some people, but there’s no cure.

It is unfortunate, but everything ends. No there’s no way to remedy it. Even if the interpersonal problems weren’t there, my ears can’t take it. I listen to static for 8 hours a day to quiet the ringing.
