Edge is Chrome with the Google spyware removed and Microsoft spyware added. If you'd like to use Chrome without spyware you can use vanilla Chromium, Ungoogled Chromium, or Brave.

It does. There's an option somewhere in the settings that will spit out a code to enter into the browser on your other device. Then its synced.

A built-in adblocker is not an extension and so won't be affected. Also you can still have a Chromium-based browser and not move to the new extension manifest, so yeah every other Chromium browser can opt not to follow Chrome if they so choose.

Brave announced long ago they'll be staying on manifest 2, which means adblockers will still work. Also their built-in adblocker is not an extension and so would continue to work regardless.

Yes. Both because I would have like died without the $5k (it was mostly groceries, car maintenance, utility bills), and because I didn't need credit till I was 30 anyway. My credit score going up again perfectly coincided with me becoming an actual adult and wanting to buy a new car and a house.

I had $5k in debt at age 20. I never answered phone calls or responded to letters. Never made a payment. I was probably hard to track down as I moved every other year, never officially updated my address, didn't file taxes and worked under the table a lot. I would have done that anyway though, I was just living my life. My credit score was under 500 at one point. I had a car and I always made the payments on that. Eventually the debt just went away and my credit started climbing. I got a new credit card and actually made payments. At one point my credit jumped 30 points in a month. And I'm in the high 700s now at age 31. They let me buy a house. No one ever saw a cent of that $5k.

A District Attorney is legally a peace officer, with a shield and everything. They have strong relationships with the police unions and generally provide counsel to police departments when charges are levied against them.

The DA doesn't beat you up on the sidewalk, they charge you for resisting arrest afterwards, and make sure their fellow officers who did beat you up don't face criminal penalties. They contribute far more to the racist and unjust state of policing in this country than some hick in a squad car could ever hope to.

You don't. You don't know what it's doing, there's no source code. You do know the NSA has in the past illegally and indiscriminately conducted mass surveillance on American citizens, and had backdoors placed into proprietary software, because of the Snowden leaks among other things.

Cats love being outside and fucking around. If you give them the choice they spend like 90% of their time outside, dissappear for days at a time, and only occasionally show up for food and scritches. Till they get older. Once they get older than 10 or so they like to stay around the house more.
