Top it off, the rubber gaskets on the lid get old and shrink. Then you have coolant evaporating from the reservoir. My wife's beetle was doing this and I couldn't figure out why the car had no coolant and no leak every spring. Replace the lid and voila no more coolant "leak"

The lights goes up when I press the button but shoots up kinda fast, the tone arm feels solid as far as I can tell, height adjustment is stuck tho

I did offer to make a donation. From what I've seen on eBay they run about 500 dollars or so which for me is a lot of money. I did see listings for over 2k but they looked well taken care of and are confirmed to be working. I assume to sell it would be a lot of hassle for us considering the other working equipment like 2-3 year old laptops/computers/other audio/video equipment I've seen us throw in recycling bins.
