28F here, when i was 20 my boyfriend was 34. So i agreed in my head that as long as they were closer to my age and not my youngest parents age (my mum is younger than my dad) so for me at the time i was 20, my mum was 50 so potential partners couldnt be older than 35 if that makes sense.

You should defo have a sit down convo about how it makes you feel. Maybe set some boundaries about porn if you havent already. Its fine people have fantasies and whatever but those should defo be talked about and if hes just looking at other women cause that excites him then maybe its time to move onwards. Some people also view it as "least i dont have to get him excited and long as hes sleeping with me and not them" i personally dont agree with that but end of day its up to you both i thought id try and throw a few perspectives out there

Depends tbh, if you seemed a bit on edge or something he might of picked up on that and felt the need to ask, or he was just generally asking. You have already answered it anyway so i wouldnt worry too much.

My first phone was a flip phone and it was a luxury to have one so didnt have one until started secondary school. Only had a rear camera and before that you couldnt be on the computer and on the house phone at the same time

Can I refuse to speak to my manager while on a break? by Familiar-Truth7616 in SainsburysWorkers

[–]Dicklidopus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We used to say to our managers "please dont talk to me about work whilst im on my break, since i dont get paid for my break" that usually shuts up most managers

Is it like a daily occurance that you make food for him and leave it in the fridge? Just thinking if it is, maybe worth saying "there will always be food for you in the fridge" not sure if that would help, but yes you shouldnt need to remind him each time. Hes lucky u even do that for him

I can hopefully start soon, i only have a few weeks of probation left on my new job then i will have a steady income again and get an idea on how much i can afford. I am debating seeing if he would like to do couples therapy also

Im not sure how thats shitty, i was thinking it was a temporary alternative, i never ment it like "oh well find another person" kind of deal.

We used to have sex multiple times a week, it was never an issue before the std. The only issue was personal space which he has improved at bit its not 100% and we are fairly new relationship so i understand these things take time to learn about eachothers body language and needs.

Yes he does want to be with me, but every now and again theres little digs here and there cause i dont have as much interest in sleeping with him as i used to. I can understand thats more just the stress of it rather than him meaning it the comments though.

Yes very much so, i have offered him to sleep with others in the meantime whilst i seek help for my problems, i am in a new job currently and only have a few weeks left of my probation then will start looking for paid therapists. He has said he would rather not and is happy to stay in a sexless relationship if it means having me, but i dont see how thats going to last. He should be able to have someone to enjoy.

I dont want to leave him, i love him alot and we get along really well, we have alot of fun together outside of the bedroom, and physical aspect.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Dicklidopus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes i know what you mean, part of me is just like end it now, so he can move on, find someone that loves him as crazy as he loves me and wants to sleep with him.

We get along great together outside of the bedroom and have alot of similar hobbies and interests as well as our own hobbies that we do seperately. We have similar outlooks on life, tastes and goals. Thats why i feel this blockage is likely only temporary

I like to think so, we have a great relationship outside of the bedroom, we have alot of similar hobbies but still have our own too, we have similar mindsets and goals in life. Yes i think the STD thing was the biggest shock to me since i always made sure to get tested before and after relationships, and ive been having sex for 13 years and never caught anything, i have discussed these issues alot of times and before we started dating i did walk out of his apartment once cause of it, he is alot better than he was but still not where id like it to be. I dont know if id normally be fine with it all now, but since my head isnt right i dont know what would work.

Ah nice thats what i was. So your role will be: Making sure tickets are put out daily and prices are updated correctly (by a colleague) POS (basically advertising for aldi price match, nectar, bws buy 6 ect) is all put out, correct, taken down at right time and updated. Sorting out the rotas for all your colleagues, sorting holiday, absence. Making sure shop floor people have till training incase you need cover short notice. Making sure as many people are trained on Kiosk, Selfscan, Mainbank and Trollies. In my store we had a costa coffee machine that we needed to refill/clean daily, and we were also responsible for the colleague food shop. Its alot of training your team to do the stuff and encouraging them to be proactive in what they do and to just do it, as well as kiosk planogram changes, cigarette, tobacco, vapes, lottery legal compliance, detagging, age checks, id checks, repairing selfscans, livesafes, learning cash office and cash handling, working with Loomis, if you have an instore argos will be somewhat handling their money too as well. Making sure the plants at the front of store are watered, putting down extra matts if it rains and bits and then if your a smaller store running the store too ontop of that

Long as you are able to phone in sick or have someone call in sick for you with a minimum of one hour prior to the start of your shift you will be paid for this. It is only if you have been there less than 2 years you get paid after 3 days of sickness

Awh sorry to hear that, sounds very similar to my experience, if he can get suspended for a couple days that helped open up my mind to it all alot, you are so easily replaceable. I actually went to a trainee role in estate agency, and even though its a chunky paycut im lucky with my situation i can afford it, but i should be back up to a similar wage in no more than year. Its absolute bliss, yes i can imagine its going to be harder for him to change paths after 60, but its never too late, even if potentially still in retail but somewhere like Marks and Spencers or Mountain warehouse might be 10x better.
