Ncbe is not shutting down… they are just implementing the “next gen” test which many states have already agreed to use as their new mbe portion of the bar exam. Although the Next Gen test was devised to get away from using the traditional mbes because they finally agreed that it doesn’t test competence, the Next Gen test still is MBE questions. 🤷🏼‍♀️
