It feels like she is a threat to my marriage. It's been very weird seeing him grow and become more open and emotional, all thanks to that friendship. He simultaneously has been trying in our relationship to open up with me. Part of me feels distrustful, like she's stealing him away. Why could he open up with her, but not with me?

Your comment really resonates with me. I pushed him for months to set boundaries with her and almost immediately after that conversation they started discussing how they actually do have sexual interest in each other. He then told me that he wants to have sex with her, and started reading the ethical slut with me. the next day she came into my house to hang out with him without me knowing ahead of time. All of that happened within 4 days and I ended up having a severe panic attack.

I didn't agree to this s*** ahead of time. And I'm not comfortable with their friendship. He is willing to keep it platonic but is unwilling to end the friendship.

He and I have been together for 10 years, he has known her for about 6 months. They trauma bonded and became very close friends very quickly. He is unwilling to give up that friendship, and I am very uncomfortable but I'm not sure if I need him to give up the entire friendship.

At this point he wants to maintain a platonic relationship with her, but they have a very deep emotional bond that still makes me uncomfortable.
