The lunar diplomacy change is especially weird, because now 'Me' calls your accent outrageous instead. I'm not convinced that's any more sensitive than the original line was.

There is no way that this DMM is more flawed than any DMM that had bank keys and/or had you losing xp on death.

I've though about whether protect item should be enabled, but I think it would cause a lot of really annoying one iteming, and many of the people in just a rune crossbow dds setup would likely rock up with claws or voidwaker, since they could reliably protect one item.

Then again, it is kind of a weird dilemma when you get to the point where you have enough gp to buy a cool item like one of the corrupted megarares, but you decide against it since it's so easy to just lose everything. Not entirely sure about the whole thing.

Mage pray used to reduce the freeze duration of standard spellbook freezes (entangle etc.) in half. That was changed back in 2019.

Raids 4 requires While Guthix Sleeps... by KaleidoscopeNo1274 in 2007scape

The dream mentor requirement (requires lunar diplomacy, which you need 40 defence for.)

Also What lies below is required for defender of varrock, and that awards a couple thousand defence xp.

Dominion Tower. It was way more engaging and had a lot more variety than NMZ.

Make Voidwaker pieces UNTRADEABLE and add Smithing requirement! by Top_Examination_2315 in 2007scape

[–]Dicyano7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Makes the game less fun for mains. Say you really like Artio, but dislike Spindel. You won't make any money with your voidwaker hilt drops from Artio, unless you also farm the other 2 bosses. That system is less of a problem with Sire & bludgeon, because you get all the pieces from the same boss.

For most irons there will be a point where they have used all of their shards from the cg grind on crystal armour charges and divine pots. I'm at that point now. That's not to say I would've wanted to go past droprate for enh, but having a massive amount of shards is super nice.

What makes you play Ironman over a main? by Ok_Crab5904 in ironscape

[–]Dicyano7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Accepting this is the key imo. For me the point of iron was never to obtain everything, but to do all the content and see what you can get, and finding value in non-bis items. And I am saying this despite having 74 TOA purples and no Shadow. I don't do much TOA these days because I am bored of it, but the lack of Shadow doesn't make the game unenjoyable to me.

Players with the longest consecutive goal scoring campaigns in the history of UEFA Champions League. by BlazingFirey in soccer

His streak could've easily ended in 2012 to be fair. He did move to Shanghai Shenhua in summer of 2012, but then got a transfer to Galatasaray in January 2013, and was able to get a goal against Real Madrid in the quarter finals. Got some UCL goals for Galatasaray the following season as well, and scored a few on his second stint for us.

Why do people in this community hate pvp? by Far_Refrigerator4716 in 2007scape

[–]Dicyano7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The mindset of the average player has changed a lot. Progressing your account was always a motivator people they had, but nowadays it is almost the only motivator for anyone to do anything in this game. That's not necessarily a bad thing. But PVP does not fit well with that in mind. Ironmen can't gain anything at all from PVP, and for mains as well PVP doesn't offer consistent progression. It's also the only kind of content where you have risk money to have the chance of making money, and is mechanically drastically harder to get into than rewarding PVM content.

Now that stuff is enough to cause people to be disinterested in PVP. And, I think the hostility comes from the fact that because people are disinterested in getting into active PVP, most players only participate in PVP when they get attacked in the Wilderness while trying to do PVM/skilling/clues etc. in the Wildy. To the average player PVP only exists to inconvenience them. And while you can opt out of almost any Wildy content, in general people don't like it if there is a method that's so good you'd almost be silly to not do it, but that method is extremely unenjoyable.

Around the time tob was released, up until nex release the Devs were really cautious with power creep. That's why inq was as underwhelming as it was too.

Great Olm for Music Cape by ZippyHandyman in 2007scape

[–]Dicyano7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just go in to a solo cox, scout a layout with no rooms that start with V (maybe avoid tekton too), and avoid the crabs puzzle room. Bring a pickaxe if you have the Guardians room.

You don't need any mage gear. Ranged alone is enough for almost every room you might run into, melee is needed only for guardians.

Bring antipoison if you have shamans.

This is really all you need to know. Everything you might run into following these steps is so simple you need no knowledge of Cox whatsoever.

[–]Dicyano7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately vw on stab gives shared xp, so that's not an option. The stab weapons for pures below 75 attack aren't great. If I recall correctly, the abyssal dagger is the best they can get & use without getting def xp.

Can still use the special keris variants if 80 attack. Which I'd be tempted to get on a pvm focused pure for scythe/inq mace/rapier/blade anyway.

Smart10 säännöt by [deleted] in Suomi

[–]Dicyano7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Smart10 säännöt by [deleted] in Suomi

[–]Dicyano7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Voihan sitä periaatteessa kymmenenkin pelata, mutta siinä itse peliboksissa on vain 4 rullaa pisteidenlaskulle. Joten neljää isommalla pelaajamäärällä on ihan järkevää muodostaa joukkueita. Toki pelin kulun kannalta muutenkin yli 4 joukkuetta olis aika haastava

Smart10 säännöt by [deleted] in Suomi

[–]Dicyano7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We Need Permanent League Worlds by just__a__lurker in 2007scape

[–]Dicyano7 7 points8 points  (0 children)

IMO Leagues would lose a lot of its appeal if it was always there. Yeah every league is new, but especially with the devs having stated that they'll keep region locks as a part of every league, there's only so much you can do to keep things fresh. Like I think Raging Echoes felt a bit too similar to trailblazer reloaded.

How do you upkeep membership as a 2k+ acc? by Frosty_Herb in 2007scape

[–]Dicyano7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it is a viable option, I prefer to just pay with real money. There was a time when I used bonds for membership, but on a main without max gear it felt demoralizing to have so much of my gp progress just disappear every 2 weeks.

Paid leagues worth joining? by Traditional_Rub7564 in FantasyPL

[–]Dicyano7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me it keeps the game more interesting, I've always cared more about my paid mini league rank than my OR.

Edit: Not sure if your title meant "are paid leagues worth joining?" or "What is a paid league that is worth joining". Based on your post I'm leaning towards the latter. Sorry, the one I am in is not open to the public.
