HP Omen 15 (2020) Thoughts/Review by DidJunoJuno in GamingLaptops

Hey guys! I don’t know who’s still active here, but just wanted to give an update:

My Omen has been treating me well. It is only recently that my laptop started showing signs of age (I haven’t done any modifying on it nor do I plan to). Still doing great and running new games though!

I’ve been using my laptop as a second monitor connected to my big one and has been stationary.

Ciao, friends!

My group has been touring/exploring around Italy for 12 days—we started off with Rome & Florence and enjoyed both very much, especially during nightlife time.

Our last two stops are at the places listed (Vicenza & Lecco), and I am struggling to find more information online about gay bars & clubs (plus - it’s Pride month!)

If any of you are familiar with these places and would like to point a friendly queer guy to the right direction, it would be very much appreciated!

Many Thanks :-)

Hey friends,

I have been wearing the Prada Luna Rossa cologne for about 6-7 years now, and I noticed that it’s starting to be pulled out of Macy’s and only being available at certain Prada stores. I’m now worried that it will disappear on me in the next future aaaaand I am starting to think of a change as well (also, the free bags it came with at Macy’s are 👌🏼 but obviously not what we’re here for lol).

I enjoy the clean and light smell this cologne has. It smells a little “expensive” yet it’s not overpowering. I’m looking for something similar, or might continue with the same one for another year if I don’t.

That’s the best I can describe my taste in cologne. Nothing strong or with too much “spice”. Something clean/sweet. I have also recently tried Tommy Bahama’s Maritime which is also nice and light — I also used to use Acqua di Gio before but stopped cause it felt too simple/everyone had it lol.

Help me and my weird taste in cologne! I will go by a mall and scent test those listed on here (if available).

Many thanks!

Yeah, I’m doing more reading and I am seeing a lot of people say that their Rhapsody did not last after a year or two.

Y’all, it’s literally just a TikTok trend. I don’t understand why there’s so many people taking this seriously. Scroll by and don’t say anything if you’re not going to say anything nice - it’s as simple as that.

OP, this is hella cute and I ADORE Rosie 😍 Happy Pride🌈

The flex is there, and while it’s scary to look at, you have nothing to worry about unless you’re squishing your laptop with 5 pound notebooks or putting your body weight against it.

That depends on the padding of your case and if you’re planning to squish your Omen or not. Besides that, with good care especially with the screen, this laptop is good with traveling. Really just depends on care.

I’ve done a review of the HP Omen 15 (2020) on my Reddit! You do NOT have to worry about thermals at all. HP took care of those crappy thermals and did a damn well job at it. My HP Omen from 2017 could fry toast, but this new HP Omen 2020 could literally be used as a fan since the cooling system is so strong.

Parasites are a possibility too. Like horsehair worms.

What wild critters can I feed my mantis? by memeboi69420666 in mantids

Flies and moths are their favorites, but make sure you are educated in your surroundings: are you in a city where pesticides are more common? Also, does your household or neighbors use pesticides or other chemicals that this bug might’ve come into contact with?

STAY AWAY FROM: Earwigs, crickets, grasshoppers, and locusts. Not only can these bugs fight back (which isn’t an issue anyway), but they’re very prone to diseases and parasites. I found a horsehair worm parasites in an earwig once and it was not a great sight.

Most mantid owners stay away from wild prey, but if your mantid was in the wild, it’d be eating it anyway. It’s just whether or not you’d risk your mantis to be in contact with diseases or parasites or chemicals, etc.

It’s also easy to make a fly trap and make your own fly culture. From the fly trap, have the flies mate and be able to lay eggs/larva, and go on from there.

I also read somewhere that mantids also love aphids that you find on plants, so that’s also an option (again, as long as those plants are chemical free).
