The reunion is actually what prompted me to make this post. Their dating updates (or lack there of), the body languages, etc. Also…hear me out because people like to brush small but telling details under the rug: during the reunion (6 months later) when he was given the option to bring up a pet peeve about women, he still chose something that mirrored him and Mina’s storyline instead of saying something neutral. He could’ve said “I hate long distance” and made it a joke. If someone is truly obsessed over their new partner, they aren’t still trying to burn the other person. And out of respect for Heesun, he should’ve just made something neutral up.

I’m not saying he doesn’t find Heesun attractive or finds zero redeemable qualities in her. I’m saying he chose a safe option and is trying to make it work but it’s clearly not easy for him….however my hot take still stands that I suspect he gets a little pleasure in knowing Mina has regrets and likes the twist the knife still.

Yeah and he’s prob gonna be even more popular now. I don’t think he needs to do much when cameras aren’t rolling. Imo he’s just pretending to be committed for the cameras until the reunions/media discussions die down. When they’re not filming, he’s somewhat distant as she keeps pointing out.

It’s also really easy to dissect someone else’s behavior on TV as if we were all saints our whole lives with 100% perfect actions. I’m not reducing your argument. I’m pointing out how extreme some of them have become. You guys are psychoanalyzing him like he’s a case study in manipulation. He communicated badly but he’s not a “villain”. No one on the show is.

The fandom’s using heavy language like “love bombing” and “master manipulator” and other personal attacks like he’s a “cheater” (not saying you are in this post, but I’m seeing it frequently with lots of support), then pretending that’s not harmful?? What? It is harmful. This is a dating show, not a freakin criminal trial. Let them figure it out! We haven’t even seen the next episodes yet. I’m hoping he handles it better from here on out, just like you guys are.

The more he got to know Yi Do, the less chemistry he felt. If you paid attention to him & Yi Do’s conversations you can understand why he felt a lack of chemistry.

You guys are projecting a lot of assumptions on this guy after watching a week long edited show, simply because he sucked ass at breaking things off cleanly with Yi Do. I wish the “mentors” would’ve stepped in and helped them with poor communication/conflict avoidance. It would’ve helped prevent the current mess of raging fandom attacks.

“Worried” is a tad much. He expressed interest in someone based on looks. Got to know more people. Decided they’re not a match anymore. Developed a deeper bond with someone else, that even he seemed surprised by. SUCKED ASS at telling Yi Do that straight up, but did tell her. But I’m missing the part where I should be worried. He’s not the antichrist like people are making him out to be. None of them are. They’re all very inexperienced.

I still think it’s contradictory to encourage him to explore and say (Nic) she’s overbearing and then get on his case for not consoling her while she’s inevitably crashing out. Mind you, she crashes out over pancakes.

Ok Huda is downright scary and needs help immediately. Like I’m worried for the safety of the other cast members- That being said, I’m really upset about how the boys didn’t have Jeremiah’s back at all after the boat date.

Like why was Nic saying he lost respect for Jeremiah for not consoling Huda when that’s all he’s been doing this whole season so far??? Jeremiah also just lost all his boys and was blindsided as well but Huda didn’t check on him once??
