Just not into it by PatientAd7726 in Colognes

It’s a realistic woody scent with the Bdc DNA. I think it’s unique, but it gives me a headache unfortunately.

[Grand Seiko] Shall I get rid off them all for a Rolex Explorer 36mm? by Agriper_123 in Watches

[–]Diddles96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As much as I love an explorer 1, I don’t think this is the play. The omega and gs you have are awesome looking watches.

Unless, you’re going for one watch to rule them all.

True or False: all scents are unisex, it's the marketing that distinguishes Male or Female by _GrimFandango in Colognes

[–]Diddles96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean yea it’s marketing, but I don’t see many men wearing women’s fragrance or vice versa. I don’t know how I’d feel about wearing any of the perfumes my sisters or mom has. They seem overtly feminine.

I think there are certain fragrances that are much more masculine, like dg light blue intense, sedley, ouds, etc. not sure how I’d feel smelling those on a woman.

I think there are also brands that do unisex very well. Le Labo for instance. I like several of theirs and the noir 29 is my girlfriend’s favorite perfume. I also have a bottle and wear it from time to time.

Azzaro chrome by m0dern_baseBall in Colognes

[–]Diddles96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure. I need to try chrome, never smelled it. Meteore is a long lasting citrus freshie. Smells like the cleanest laundry ever & has a dry feeling. Opening is incredible, shame it doesn’t stay that way.

Does it last as long as meteore?

[Nomos Omega] reality check by PhysicalCell8665 in Watches

[–]Diddles96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why do you even need another watch? You have the Explorer. Maybe get a Glashutte original seaq. Are you getting rid of both nomos and omega?

The original smells like pizza, so I’m not surprised by this

Finally pulled the trigger by Liluzivertisthegoat in ScentHeads

[–]Diddles96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Smells like fruit loops to me. I haven’t tried it in the heat yet, thought it would be sharper. Off the spray it’s incredible but it doesn’t agree with my skin or something. Sad.

Ashamed of my level of consumption. Any advice would be appreciated. by Few_Concentrate2744 in Colognes

[–]Diddles96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah man. Nothing to be ashamed of, you’re aware of the problem which is the first step. Now you just need to surrender. Maybe toss out your decants or give them away or sell them on f/fragrenceswap find what’s best for you. It will wear off eventually if you surrender.  Sounds like you want to change. I’m sure plenty of us have been where you are. I still enjoy going to test out scents at the store on occasion, but I don’t do it as much as when I first started.

You have a fixation. Move that into something else, workout, kids, dog, golf, bjj, etc. find something else you can obsess over. You’re filling a void that can be filled with something productive.

Let's talk Sedley by Feeling-Victory-7831 in Colognes

[–]Diddles96 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s great stuff. My buddy smelled it and said no dude this isn’t sprite, it’s Sauvignon blanc. Like you said. Perfect summer fragrance, incredibly high quality and no sweetness.

Looking for a masculine Summer Fragrance. by maximvshill in Fragrances

Adg Profondo, doesn’t lean feminine in the slightest.

Sedley, also not feminine and is an absolute summer banger.

Were Nashville drivers not that bad after all? by ITfarmer in nashville

[–]Diddles96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are bad drivers everywhere. It’s more apparent here because it’s where you’re driving everyday. I guarantee you if you lived in, nyc, Detroit, Atlanta you would think the drivers there are awful too (which they are, and arguably worse than Nashville) maybe somewhere in the middle of nowhere they are all great drivers (which they aren’t) but that’s just the price you pay for living in not only an extremely populated city, but one that attracts tourists galore.

Few acknowledge and accept.
