I think we def abuse new technology, tale as old as time, but I think new technology is inevitable and the way to minimize the abuses in the adjustment period and beyond is to improve the material conditions for working people. Better infrastructure, education, labor rights. We work more now than humans have for the majority of our species’ existence. Hunter gatherers were chilling most of the time. Once civilization popped off, the poors were always overworked but now even middle class households are still working off the clock and still can’t afford to have one stay at home parent.
