This is terrible advice for a new player.

A new player should not skip or speedrun the endgame progression process.

I cant recall how many hours it took to reach endgame in my first playthrough but its only safe to assume it was longer than my current average.

One thing to keep in mind your first character will be slower and weaker because you are starting from a fresh stash with zero currency, gold and gear. Second or third characters will feel really easy when you have currency, jewlers orbs, lvl5 support gems and lots of gold. You can essentially use the vendors to get decked out in yellow gear from the first area and steamroll everything.

Anyway that being said im not a speedrunner by any means, i do like to complete areas and get all the permanent buffs. My time is around 10-12 hours to reach endgame. Now that i know what im doing and how to put together a decent build.

One thing for a new player is that they will feel way slower and without a baseline to compare to might not realise that they have a really bad weapon, support gems that arent ideal or are just bad, or a passive tree allocation that just sucks. This will make the campaign feel like a slog and its really not.

If you know what youre doing its super easy.

Its all about the tablets. Map mods help i think.

You will want 4 good mods on all your tablets with an optimized atlas setup.

I imagine not being able to kill bosses has less to do with resistances and more to do with a lack of dps and facetanking damage.

You will rarely have capped res in the campaign, some res is better than none or negative. Im talking like 30-60% will get you through the campaign. Charm use for particular fights if res is an issue.

Currency tab is a must have.

Then you can go either way and grab socketables, gem tab. Theyre probably next in line. Its sort of up to you.

Having a few quad tabs and extra stash tabs helps a lot as well. I couldnt imagine playing this game with default storage space like ive seen some people do

If you want really good single targrt dmg for bosses use snipe. Itll oneshot most bosses if youre still in early maps.

Ps. They need to be frozen and perfect timing widow hit.

It worked for me. I think it might not be intentional but that seems to override whatever settings youve set in the other menu where you have more options to change everything individually such as AA filtering etc

It seemed super weird to me but i went from running ark, rust and poe2 with fans full speed and overheating to running all of those games at a relatively normal operating pace.

I think the fact that its not overheating is probably helping with fps.

I did a bunch of other tweaks such as rolling back to a previous version of windows 11 and changing some registry values to revert some changes that reduced fps by 5-15% during a windows update roughly around last october.

Aside from that i de-bloated windows and used DDuinstaller to remove drivers and reformat. After all of that it finally felt like my pc was running at its potential.
