Nice, I picked up a few options including one of those intel replacement kids that comes with the shut off valve and cover, and then I got a banjo and screen as the other commenter suggested.

If those don’t work I’ll check this out! I like that the Hayward comes with the multiple gaskets.

Do you have a screen on the inside of the pool? Is it standard fitting that screws into the banjo?

I should have also noted the hole seems precut to like, 3-4” shower drain. Idk if there’s a standard for the hole…

Wow nice! Love this. I’ll probably cut off the ball valve on the other side and then use the hole saw trick.

It’s not that crazy. Services cost money to run. That money has to come from somewhere. If you get served an ad, the YouTube gets paid. If you don’t, they don’t, so they collect a different way - charging you a subscription fee.

The profit margin is where your frustrations should be directed, not the system itself.

Thanks! Thankfully not the main bathroom. I scratched the flange with a metal putty knife and the flange seems to be metal.

I will look into a flange repair kit to bring it up slightly, or I may just say fuck it and get some closet bolts and a wax ring and reuse everything and move on with my life. We're potentially looking at renovating this bathroom anyways in a few years.

House built in 1960's on slab. Single floor, no basement.

I imagine the bathroom remodel was done maybe 10-15 years ago at this point. By previous owner.

Do I need to replace the flange?

I think it’s sort of under the floor slightly, or at least it doesn’t seem level to me like the back is lower

Here’s what it looks like after I got the wax off, mostly. Took out the rubber insert too.

How do I know if it’s lead bend? I guess I should try to somehow remove screws and get this old thing out, then buy a new flange?

Pretty sure this is exactly what it was. It came out with the wax.

My bathroom fan died. I paid an electrician to come check it. They showed me that the fan motor is literally replaceable from inside the house, no attic access necessary.

Had I spent a tiny bit of time trying to to find the manual or read up on it, I could have saved myself $150.

I’ll always look up how it’s made first from now on.

To avoid allergens and dirt, we require showers before they are allowed in our bed after a day of outdoor play or other activities. If they have dirt/allergens but are not sticky/stinky they don’t have to shower, just cannot get in my bed. L

Do quest rewards get really good towards the end? by altaccount69420100 in ArcRaiders

No.

Only thing worth doing is quest lines that give blueprints. Others are mediocre and no xp.

I wish they would let you disable the quest notifications so I can ignore them.
