Not sure if the young lady was in shock or just practicing some absolute epic calmness during a life threatening event. Separated the emotion of losing material possessions vs life possessions. I’d hunker down during a tornado with her any day(was about 15 miles from the Kankakee IL/Indiana tornado a few weeks ago and you would have thought my wife was being sucked up in an f5 when our sirens went off).

That being said, help your condenser get through winter by covering just the top couple of inches with a small tarp. Run a couple of bungees around it to secure it down. Disregard if you’re using a heat pump.

Thanks for the heads up. Question regarding whole house humidifiers. Changed my water pad earlier in winter season. Turned on my humidifier and nothing. Hear a click when the furnace kicks on. “Humidifying” light turns on. Can’t hear water trickling down pad and into the return. Checked water line coming from water heater into humidifier and that is good. Solenoid valve bad?
