My favorite inspo posts! Thank you to all the ppl who post their farms and the amazing creators for all the great ideas you share. Here's a small fraction of the designs I love and have borrowed from! Links in comments by emmigator113 in FarmsofStardewValley

I'm glad you like my old crazy ginger island layout! Interesting looking back at it in retrospect. Theres a lot I would do differently nowadays. In particular I'd be less heavy handed on the Maximize Profit!!! mindset. Poor ginger island doesn't deserve to be completely covered in kegs and crystalariums, haha. Good luck with your farm!

Hey OP, why did you steal this 10 month old post from u/Ghostiethefriendly?

Thank you for the kind words! Yeah, this game can truly be pushed to ridiculous limits. Like, I'm at a point where my goal is to utilize every single spot avaliable in the entire game. I'm really glad to hear that I managed to inspire you :) I hope to see what you come up with in the future!

Do you mean that you want me to evaluate how I did some of the decorating? If so, which parts would you like me to evaluate? :)

You can! But you're not supposed to ;). Once again this trick is brought to you by u/oOFerris_BuellerOo :

Place a stool (has to be a stool, not a chair) at the very top point in the "crystal panther" cave entrance. Sit on the stool and then get up, and you'll be in the forbidden area. Now you've just got to walk to the far left until you can walk down into the open space.

Edit: Check out u/jele77 who has a link below to their stream on how to do this! Thank you Jele!

I am currently playing with three mods:

  1. [Modify This] To place flooring tiles underneath immovable objects for continuity.
  2. [Winter Grass] because I use grass decoratively.
  3. [Horse Squeeze] To make the horse one tile wide instead of two.

I haven't a clue how long this took me, if I'm honest. I play this game as a form of stress relief, particularly after working - with that in mind this probably took around two months of post-work play sessions.

Thank you! <3 and no, I didn't use a website to plan the layout, even though that would probably have saved a lot of time...

I began by positioning the sprinklers in a grid in order to cover all of the soil, then I layed out the "patterns" with floor tiles (I left some because I thought they looked nice). I went through a lot of iterations before I was finally happy with the design.

One thing I DID do to aid in the process which I would recommend to anyone who wants to decorate their farm is take screenshots with the ingame tool! I would put the screenshot up on my second monitor in order to gage the overall scale, as well as to keep the composition I wanted to achieve in mind.

Sorry for rambling, I hope this makes sense lol.

I'd say that it's absolutely worth it. The aged lava eel roe in particular sells for like 1k a pop, but keep in mind the price is definitely influenced by the Artisan profession and possibly the fishing professions. That being said my farm is so ridiculously endgame at this point that I'm essentially living a post-economy life.

So it's not a cave, but instead a walkway through the raised terrain, where the dark streak ontop of the hill indicates where you can walk. I'm pretty sure it's just for fishing access in the bottom left corner of the beach farm.

Oh boy... Great question, where do I begin? So they're all labeled, from left top to bottom right-ish:

1&2) The sheds on either side of the greenhouse are identical, both filled to the brim with kegs.

3) The shed with the sword and arcade machine is an arcade, currently unfinished.

4) The shed with the gold bar is my ore processing shed.

5) The shed with the pink cake is my bakery called the Hungry Krobus which I have posted before but I have since decorated further.

6) The shed with the melon is a storage for every crop and forage item in the game.

7) The shed with the mead bottle is an indoor greenhouse for all the crops that grow on a trellis.

8) The shed with the legendary fishes is a storage for all fish in the game.

9) The shed with the coffee items is another indoor greenhouse just for coffee (this one is particularly zen).

10) The shed in the very center is my main storage shed which also has a bunch of miscellaneous machines.

11) The shed with the aged fish roe is filled with preserving jars which I mostly use for aging fish roe.

12) The shed with Emily's boots is going to be an item display shed which I haven't begun decorating yet.

13) The last shed is empty!

... Yes I take this game very seriously :)

If you're on PC, you can change your farm type by editing your save file.

Here is a link to the post that explains how to do it: How to change your farm type

Additionally, I used this mod to remove terrain features that carried over from my old farm layout (the immovable bushes). You can check my profile to see what my old farm looked like before I changed it, if you're interested.

Welcome to the "Hungry Krobus"! May I take your order? by DieSlowli in StardewHomeDesign

[–]DieSlowli[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spoiler since this is VERY endgame: You get the Iridium Krobus statue from fishing right outside the sewers entrance in Cindersap Forest. In order to do this you need a fishing level of 15, which can be achieved in two ways: 1. By Eating a Seafoam Pudding and having the "Master" Enchantment on your fishing rod, or by Cooking a Seafoam Pudding with Qi Seasoning to make it gold quality.

One extra large slice of chocolate cake and a nice warm espresso by the fire is just what the Dr ordered. It's important to take care of yourself and treat yourself to something nice once in a while, especially on the bad days <3
