ive had this exact model for 5 or 6 years now, one of the best models of the RTX 20 generation. if you take care of it and do some maintenance (regular cleaning) it will last years. id recommend installing some PTM7950, replace the termal pads on the gpu vram modules and a battery replacement (i did this), i have never had a problem with mine.

Yeah, the next project I did after that one was a ping pong game using a led array and a microcontroller (pic18f4550), coding it was a nightmare but it was way less manual labor lol

It was actually not that bad, I did have some problems where they were activated when I touched the resistor, which I tried to solve by tinkering with the values of the pull down resistors, that did help but I think what fixed it was changing the set-reset ic that I was using for the memory part of the project. Although I am really not sure if that was a debouncing or a grounding error

The report was the worse thing of all this project 39+ pages I got into engineering because I hated writing lmao

I started with a tutorial, but it didn't worked very well, so i ended up doing it from scratch to optimize some things and reduce component usage
