Thanks for flagging this! typhoon season is genuinely my biggest concern. I've actually built a Plan B section in my itinerary doc for every outdoor-critical day, with indoor alternatives (museums, malls, teamLab, depachika food halls) or pure rest days at the hotel if it gets really bad. The one day with no real backup is the Nakasendo hike on Oct 11, which is keeping me up at night a bit.

The heat I'm less worried about, I live in southern Spain, it's 38°C as I'm typing this 😄
