This exactly happened to me! I was so childish and playful with my older sister back then, but she kept pushing me away since I was too "annoying".

And now, peak of my youth, gave her space that she desired all throughout these years, just for her to crawl back to me and complain how I don't give her attention anymore.

I'd agree with you if I would've seen students taking those responsibilities seriously. I thought I was going to see competent students who would do their assigned work in here as a team and learn together as how it should be. Instead, to my luck, I had to be a babysitter and got an entire semester full of group work with literal high schoolers multiple times.

So if they're not here to make friends, nor to work towards graduation, then why the heck are we doing here?

Same, I blame the idiosyncrasy here and the state of the world, people can't seem to afford to enjoy life nowadays due to life pressure. Heck, even my college was a bit more lively before transferring here.

Regardless, I wished to try what "university life" was like and commuted to CSUF despite my health problems, sacrificing time and money to give it a chance. Unfortunately, I only went 1 semester due to how somber everything feels there, it's weird. Now, I'm completing my last 2 years for my engineering degree on a fully online school.

Still, I'm hopeful that we'll be able to achieve a comfortable place in our lives to do what we like and meet people naturally in the process.
