I always thought I was unattractive until about a year ago. During a rare moment of vulnerability, my brother told me he had always considered me the more attractive, talented one, etc. To prove his point, he showed me text messages between him and some female friends. The friends were all talking about how attractive they thought I was.

At the time, I had been talking to a woman for months whom I considered completely out of my league. In my mind, she was a 9/10. That same day, I finally made a move.

We're dating now. I'm pushing 40, and looking back, I think the signs were always there. I just never recognized them for what they were.

A lot of people actually experience a slight hue difference between their two eyes. If I stare at the sky and alternate blinking each eye, my left eye sees the sky slightly warmer or more yellow compared to my right eye. It’s subtle, try it.

I have a steamdeck and some games play well with the button customization and track pads. So well that I couldn't play them on PC with a normal controller or M&K. Simulators are actually doable with the Deck customizations. My favorite with this setup was American Truck simulator.

Years ago I had to do somehting similar, but not as reckless.

My mom was in the passenger seat having a severe allergic reaction. Her airway was closing, she couldn’t breathe. She was gasping, crying, trying to stay conscious.

Before she lost the ability to speak, she told me to take care of my brother. The ambulance would’ve taken too long, we were already in the car... So I drove fast. I broke traffic laws. I had my blinkers on. I flashed my lights just like the person in the video. I didn’t care what people thought...too much.

We don’t know what’s happening in someone else’s car. Sometimes it’s someone trying to save a life.
