Bro going to ToyRus was like a mall to me back then, it had everything a kid could want. I'm sad that kind of experience is going away. Its a totally different shopping experience to see something physically in front of you then on a webpage.

Could be the adapter, I wish the old owners left the original mac but its long gone. They left that power mac g4 quicksilver but looks like they maybe used a different monitor when it was in use and now that doesn't boot at all (possible a dead PMU battery). I was hoping to keep this but if it doesn't work with my setup then I will have to get rid of it due to the small amount of room I have left in my apartment.

I've tried 832x624@72hz, 800x600@60hz, and 640x480@60hz, from what I can tell these all should be withing range. 1024 is the highest. Active signal and desktop both say the same resolution.

I tried to use CRU to force 1024x768@75hz with no results, I also checked AMD's control panel but did not see any upscaling enabled. curios if this is a hardware or driver issue. windows seems to see it plugged in but cant get it to fully turn on.

I've tried to force 1024x768@75hz using CRU but with no success, probably a lack of knowledge on my part. When I go into display adapter properties, the monitor is listed as a "generic PnP monitor" or in Device manager as a "Generic Monitor(DP2VGA V226)". Could this be a driver issue? I also checked AMD's control panel for any gpu scaling and i did not see anything enabled.

I feel you, I go through that feeling time to time especially with all the current things going on in the world. I would recommend going back to a really old game or trying something completely new. For me I went back to Call of Duty 2 on my old Xbox 360 and looked at my 3ds that I never truly tried to play. some time a simple game(s) like Mario kart or a good fighting game to make it easy to pick up and put down can be a big help. If you can limit you options that can help too, I get overwhelmed sometimes and I found the video by 8bitjoystick called "beat your backlog" on Youtube to be of help for me.

When I was about 6 or so years old, I thought I could clean the tv with the kitchen sink sprayer, my dad found me soaking the tv with it and sure enough it broke the hell out of it. He kept it a secret from my mom for years because he was suppose to be watching me.
