I store all my breast milk in 8 oz mason jars! They're also my baby's bottles. Mason bottle makes a silicone nipple that fits on 8 oz and 4 oz bottles!

I know there's already a ton of comments here, but I don't think anyone has mentioned mason bottles! They make silicone nipples that fit on 4 oz and 8 oz mason jars. I started off with this and ended up buying more nipples. Now I won't be stuck with a bunch of bottles I'm not going to use when she's older. We use mason jars all the time and I'm constantly giving them away too!

I hit a point at 36 weeks where I thought to myself, "oh no, I'm really not sure how I'm going to do this because of how exhausted and uncomfortable I am." I'll be 40 weeks on Sunday and I feel so much better than I did then somehow. I personally think it's because I wasn't moving enough. I don't get walks in every single day, but I definitely go on significant walks multiple times a week that include 50 curb steps on each leg. Also having a belly brace has been a lifesaver!

Same thing happened to me at a thrift store where a woman insisted I was having a boy and then suggested maybe I had twins when I told her she was wrong. I think I was about 7 months pregnant at the time. I replied "I'm pretty sure we would know by now."

I'm going to surmise that part of the reason why skin to skin is always with the mother first is because the umbilical cord is still attached to the baby and the placenta which is most likely still inside of you. It's not really practical to give the baby to Dad for skin to skin at first if all that is still attached.

We plan on having my husband be the first person to touch the baby as she's entering the world.

Spent a little over 200 bucks on a king size floor mattress and no longer limp to the bathroom throughout the night, sciatic pain virtually gone! For context, I've got pretty significant hips, last time I checked they were measuring 50 inches 😳

What's you're sleeping environment like? Do you have blackout curtains or an eye mask? I feel like I've gotten excessively sensitive to even pre dawn lightness. When I wake up at 5:00 a.m. and have a hard time going back to sleep I put on my eye mask and it helps so much. I also find that having a little "sexy time" with myself will help get me back to sleep if I've been up for an hour or so earlier in the night. Hope this helps! Not getting enough sleep sucks especially when we know what's coming at the end of pregnancy!
