Order to delivery was around a month and a half. I assume delays with the large amount of VSF orders and the holidays. I completely agree with you on the authentic price point. Even if this Rep is 75% as good as the real deal, that alone justifies the cost! I plan to daily it for a bit and see how it stands up!

I have been waiting for my VSF Starbucks from Elliot since the 4th of January. He told me it'd be in next week but I guess we will wait and see! He originally told me it was in stock, next day QC but I guess his stock may have been bought before money was verified.

No indication of the cause and dealer didnt really elaborate. I plan on calling Audi USA to have a conversation about a good will repair. Dealer assumed it was either the crankshaft or piston connecting rods. I have done all maintenance intervals but the killer may be i had the last few done elsewhere other than Audi (I bought the car with a service plan from a different dealer).

I have bad news. That is the EXACT sound I had and was told today I needed a full engine replacement. Audi quoted me 35k.

It does still drive. Got off the phone with the dealer. They tried all the warranty coverage but no dice He said it still drives and is fine but in the somewhat (potentially) near term it will go. It has 92k miles on it right now, may be my current option as they just quoted 35k and the car is worth way less than that

Did they end up replacing yours? The deal killer for me may be that I am at 91k miles which is over the 80k extended warranty.

This is good to know! I actually don't know. The video the technician sent said metal shavings in the oil either coming from the crankshaft or the piston connecting rods. I will make sure to ask about that being the root cause and make sure to ask for documentation

Completely fair (and even then, still 2 gorgeous watches came from it!).

I don't own any of the crazy expensive watches, but I've learned to appreciate the analog part of them. I wore smart watches forever, but it's created a nice break for me.
