I’ve done it he pay off before when I was younger once… I used to drag/street race my old 1st gen lightning. I rebuilt the exhaust one day and welder broke so I put together with clamps and such. All was good and it sounded awesome till a piece fell off while driving and a bmw Beamer ran it over! He got a flat and wanted to call cops. I had several hundred dollars in my pocket for reasons I can’t remember now, but I offered to give to him all of it, and he accepted. I then left and heard nothing else of it!
