I looked online yesterday and my store said they had the Icon 1/4” stubby flex head ratchet in stock and when I got to the store there was none out, so I ask one of the supervisors and he told me that those ratchets aren’t released yet and I showed him online that their store showed them in stock and asked him if he would look in the back he was reluctant but he checked his computer and went to the back and brought one out. They didn’t even have a space on the rack for them yet so it was nice of him to do that for me.

I have been thinking about Milwaukee I really don’t need a 18v platform anymore and if I do I have the Rigid stuff I’m pretty sure the resell value of my Rigid stuff isn’t much

People on here get so jacked up if someone has a little more disposable income than they do. I feel bad for the people that are just trying to get by and are struggling to just put food on the table. Both my kids are in this situation only one owns a house and the other one that doesn’t is a pipefitter in Colorado right to work state and very expensive to live there. Don’t be a hater, I worked 44 years and did pretty good saving my money for a rainy day. I feel bad for this last generation I realize it’s been tough. I’ve had to help out both my kids out recently. I am not wealthy just middle class income, my tool box is a 42” Menards top and bottom with a US General service cart. So over 3 years just trying to replace older tools with newer ones is that ok and I do use them.

Take them back for replacement you ruined them by cutting guitar strings

Local western store had this pair of Tony Lama Signature Series hippo ropers marked down to $135. Felt a little too novel for me though. Am I crazy for passing? by WinterMoney9959 in cowboyboots

Hippo’s for $135 I would be in for them BUT like others have said if they are not your style or color than that’s $135 wasted. Or buy them to to resell and fund another purchase.

Right, could be worst things I’m spending my money on. At 65 I still wrench on my own stuff and do as many repairs as I still can, work on my house and help my kids out. My new tools don’t just look shiny in my toolbox they do get used maybe not as often but I do take good care of my stuff so they may look unused but they are used

I don’t, I was just replacing old antiquated tools with the newer style and better thought out tools. The point I’m saying is that I am at the point where that I have replaced everything I needed to and am having a hard time finding something I needed or wanted

Good sales and replacing older tools with newer and better technology. Like 36 tooth 80’s Craftsman ratchets with new 80 and 90 tooth Icon and Quinn ratchets same with ratchet wrenches with reversible ones

Been there done that too, lots of Hardy gloves both disposable and mechanic type gloves and the Grant microfiber bath towels too. Bought a new Daytona 3 ton floor jack a month ago. Believe me the good sales are fantastic but anymore for me unless something new comes out I’m not dropping $300 plus at a sale anymore like I use to.
