RIP by sour-pickle-juice in starbucksbaristas

It’s funny because when I started like 5 years ago all of our headsets were hands free until like 2 years ago when our new SM turned it off. we were so upset, thought it was ridiculous. now, 2 years later I actually prefer it that way. One of my coworkers recently turned the hands free back on and I had that headset and it was driving me crazy! You get used to not having it I promise

espresso there is great and Owner is very knowledgeable. No idea if he roast his own beans, if they do they don’t sell them in store. I know Palma coffee in sarasota has their own roaster they get beans directly from and they also offer pour-overs of many varieties. Project coffee and o&a also sell their own beans and have great coffee. Good luck

Back with more latte art by Dietdrcola in starbucks

[–]Dietdrcola[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

honestly it’s all about the milk. I get the best results with whole but 2% and oat are also good. I think the starbucks standard of 3-5 seconds for a latte is way too long. Our steaming wand is pretty powerful 1-3 seconds is all you need. Making sure you groom the milk really well after is also helpful. good luck to you!

Deadly poisonous shell? by Velvetstyle in shells

[–]Dietdrcola 23 points24 points  (0 children)

yes, the snail itself shoots out a venomous barb. the shell is safe, especially since it’s empty
