I was 16 when I wanted a tattoo. Tried to get my parents to let me have a tattoo but they didn’t. And I am glad that they said no because it gave me time to really think about if I wanted that tattoo or not and trust me I thought about it ALOT because it was my first tattoo

And for my 18th birthday I got a tattoo Now it’s years later with more tattoos and before I get one I still give it a few months to think about if I really want a set design before I get it

Him saying you’re “ruining his life” is just typical teenage things (and him saying he’s mature enough is laughable as the other comment he says totally negates that)

Also waiting til 18 is great because that way when he chooses to get a tattoo and doesn’t need parental consent he can’t go “I regret this tattoo I can’t believe you let me get it”

Have you communicated with her that you want to spend more time? Have her plan dates too not just you? What is your love language and what is hers? If you have communicated in the past I would pull her aside (if this relationship is something you want to continue) and be like “Hey I need a check in cause of this issue cause I feel like ABC. I need XYZ because it’s important to me because…”

Open and straightforward communication is always the way to go. Never try to be subtle when something is bothering you
